The automotive industry is changing rapidly and moving towards electrical vehicles which are set to completely dominate the market in the next two decades. This course has been designed with these technological developments in mind with as much emphasis on electrical side of vehicle design as the mechanical side so graduates are well equipped for the automotive industry of the future. It will provide students with the knowledge and skills required in the modern automotive industry, with a focus on electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles.

Our 2-Year Post Basic B. Sc Nursing at Chitkara School of Health Sciences is a bridge course offered to general Nursing Diploma holders to equate them with the graduate nurses. The graduates will be prepared to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of people as professional nurses.

The program will help students develop an understanding of the philosophy, objectives and responsibilities of Nursing as a profession. The purpose of the course is to orient the students to the current concepts involved in the practice of Nursing and developments in the Nursing profession, integrating the knowledge of various fields and provide a holistic care to patients and their families through the promotion of healthcare, prevention of disease spread and infection, care during illness and rehabilitation at the recovery.

Physiotherapists are health care professionals who diagnose and oversee the management of patients of all ages in order to improve their physical and functional abilities. They help individuals maintain optimal health, mobility and fitness, and prevent the onset or progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities related to disease, disorders and other conditions.

Due to mechanisation and an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, most people nowadays face multifarious musculoskeletal problems and complain of many issues such as backache, stiff shoulders and neck, osteoarthritis, spondylitis, knee pain, etc. Physiotherapists work wonderfully with mainstream doctors to help cure these dysfunctions. They help individuals maintain optimal health, mobility and fitness, and prevent the onset or progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities related to disease, disorders and other conditions.

Chitkara School of Health Sciences (CSHS) has introduced a 4-Year full-time program in Optometry, which deals with the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system.

The program is envisaged to develop a multipurpose ophthalmic manpower at paramedical level. The program will enable a student to become a competent person in providing service as an Optometrist at Tertiary eye care center, specialty eye clinic such as low vision clinic, orthoptic clinic, contact lens clinic, Optical outlets, can also provide Ophthalmic Assistant to the community as an Community optometrist, and can also provide services at Multinational Vision Care Companies. Our training methodology will provide students with integrated inputs that will help develop their conceptual & analytical skills, and a strong technical knowledge base, in order to prepare them for a bright future in the eye care sector of the Healthcare Industry.

The two-year master’s program offers specialised qualification with which you can focus on both the technical and artistic aspects of communicating through a range of visual media. The program offered at Chitkara University has a strong focus on the application of artistic and computer-aided design skills to the interpretation of commercial and technical information for the public. 

The M.Des program helps candidates develop their research skills, enhance their experimental practice, construction techniques, equipment and material, and portfolio skills about their respective specialization in design.

The program also aims to incorporate the concept of management in Physiotherapy along with experience in clinical training to acquaint the student with the concept of quality care at the institutional as well as the community level.
