Spectacular discoveries and advancements in biotechnology have led to the development of many array of products in the area of healthcare, agriculture and environment.

Objective

• Familiarize with the molecular and genetic tools used to analyze genomes, modify genetic material and techniques for modifying organisms to produce desired products.
•  Plan for and manage formulation and execution of protocols and innovative technologies and/or products.
• Enlighten issues of forensic and genetic identity with case studies.
• Educate basic philosophical and ethical considerations regarding genetic data, genetic manipulation and biosafety issues.
• Explore emerging technologies, innovations, and new products in the field of genomics and proteomics.

Under the 2-year M. Tech in Information Technology Programme, the students learn advanced areas related to Cloud, Network, Information & Data processing, security and privacy. They understand the open problems and current research work happening in these areas. Students are in this manner enabled to pursue research in domains related to Information Technology.

The MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, abbreviated as (MDS OMFS) is a 3-year postgraduate program designed for a career practice in the field of Faciomaxillary Surgery. The curriculum of the course is designed to enhance the academic, clinical, and interpersonal skills for a wide range of career options in Oral and Maxillofacial departments.

It Prepares graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at a basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. It also develops nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of facilitating individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor, and manager in a clinical/public health setting.

For Postgraduate students, efforts are taken to simplify the subjects like Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita & Ashtanga Hridaya. Students are subjected to daily commentary reading of above subjects and discussed in detail. We help them understand the finer points of the subject. Students are given assignments or short topics for compilation. Topics are given in accordance with their dissertation subjects. Research Methodology is taught according to syllabus. Topics are discussed keeping in mind research in Ayurveda. The importance of research is impressed upon the students so as to inculcate the relevance of research in their minds. If topics are not clear they are explained repeatedly and question answer sessions are arranged. We try to stimulate curiosity in the minds of the students without which research and innovation is not possible. Practicals of Research Methodology are conducted in accordance with the syllabus.

The M. D. in Ayurveda Samhita is a Non – Clinical course provides research training in the study of classical texts of Ayurveda, their scientific exploration and validation. The aim of the course is to provide orientation of specialties and super specialties of Ayurveda and to produce experts and specialist who can be competent and efficient teachers, physicians, surgeons in various field of Ayurveda.

Post graduate researchers in Ayurveda are placing increasing importance on application based, socially oriented topics. This course delivers a correlative study of Kriya Sharir & modern physiology to broaden their career spectrum to fields like clinical research, pharmacies etc.

Student interaction sessions are conducted with medical, biomedical, & research laboratories and pharmacies to conduct research projects. This course also entails carrying out observational studies like body fat percentage in Medadhatuvriddhi with the help of body fat monitor and experimental studies like lipid profile in dual constitution with Goghruta.

B.Sc Hospitality Studies is a three-year course that focuses on the Hospitality sector along with the Tourism industry.

Today, Naturopathy is recognized and well accepted as an independent system of Medicine. It is fast gaining popularity around the world for its safe and effective healing. Naturopathic medicine treats the patient suffering from malignant, chronic and debilitating diseases.

Our Diploma Course in Naturopathy offers students with the right tools, quality education and exposure that’ll help them become certified naturopaths equipped to treat patients suffering from diseases like chronic bronchitis, fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, depression, asthma, hypertension, and type II diabetes.

This is a three year post-graduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program entails rotational postings in the departments of Paediatrics and General Medicine, Psychiatry and Anaesthesia. The student is involved in managing cases under expert supervision in the Paediatric Out Patient Department, Vaccination Out Patient Department, wards, Casualty, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Labour Ward.

This experience is supplemented by Speciality experience gained in Paediatric Endocrinology, Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric Surgery and Neonatology besides foetal medicine. Skills training in the neonate and paediatric patient is achieved with the aid of our state of art Simulation Laboratory equipped with neonate and paediatric mannequins.

Practical training is complemented with a rigorous lecture, seminar , journal club and seminar schedule to ensure a sound theoretical base to the student. The course will enable the student to develop exceptional clinical and practical skills. The student is trained to practice Paediatrics and all its sub-specialities with a holistic and empathetic approach.

MBA in Systems Management is a 2-year postgraduate course that deals with software and information technology problems and administrative issues.
