M.Sc. (Agri.) Entomology is a two year post graduate programme designed to provide knowledge and skill of plant protection principles and procedures to the students. The course structure imparts the students with through understanding of the breadth of Agricultural Entomology by providing comprehensive knowledge on basic concepts and current developments in Insect Biosystematics; Insect Physiology; Insect-Pest Management, Host Plant resistance and Insect Toxicology along with minor courses of resistance breeding and plant diseases. BBA LLB – Hons. (Integrated) course emphasizes providing an integrated understanding of law in an environment of Financial Management, Business Administration, and other managerial concepts. It also provides necessary knowledge that is a pre-requisite to obtaining Bar Council registration and undertaking any traditional law-related business, practice.

The 2 years full time post graduate Programme has been designed to focus on developing a strong public health structure in India and countries with similar conditions. Master of Arts Programme in Political Science of School of Humanities and Social Science, GD Goenka University has been designed to equip students with comprehensive and in-depth learning of the subject matter of Political Science. The Programme aims to prepare students for a career in research and equips the student to be well versed with contemporary trends in politics and public policy as well as possess a nuanced understanding of how political concepts, institutions and governments have evolved by introducing them to thinkers and discourses from ancient, medieval and modern times – both in Western and South Asian politics. The strong research thrust of the MA Programme is reflected in the course on Research Methodology, the Internship Programme and the Dissertation – all of which aim to cultivate, hone and strengthen the research, writing and analytical skills of the students. While the course on Research Methodology aims to educate students with techniques of conducting research and introduces them to research ethics, the two-month Internship enables students to work with an organization of their choice and gain work experience and an opportunity to assess their learning in real-life scenarios. The Dissertation is a microcosm of future doctoral research and helps the student assess and cultivate research and writing skills, in particular, to do with academic writing.

B. Sc. in Cardiovascular technology (B.Sc-CVT) is a 3 year regular course program designed to cover all aspects of cardiovascular disease management and care. It involves learning of complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that involve use of various equipment, computer hardware, tools, machines and pharmacological agents. This program enables students to acquire skills for management of various cardiac disorders. Students will be trained to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts to work independently as qualified cardiovascular technologists and become an integral member of the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratory teams. The CVT’s primary role is to perform, at the direction of a qualified physician, technical procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular injury and disease.

MA Sociology is a 2-year post graduate program in Sociology with emphasis on a broad study of society and its mechanism. MA Sociology facilitates the understanding of concepts like social issues in cross-cultural societies, encourage and develop an insight of the forces that serve to form modern society. Through an MA [Sociology) program candidates are trained for applying practical advanced training in sociology through statistics, research methods, and evaluation. Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology program trains students in the wide range of skills traditionally employed by modern sociologists. The aim is to provide candidates with innovative training for the success of candidates in professions such as applied social scientists. Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is an undergraduate program focused on understanding the core functions of business such finance, accounting, strategy. During the course the students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for entry level managerial positions in the corporate world, particularly in Logistics Industries.  The curriculum is designed with inputs from Industry practitioners and has an embedded Apprenticeship for the student to get exposure to real-world problems.   During the Apprenticeship the students complete an industry-relevant project and also obtain organizational experience, practicing the theory they learnt on the campus. The core of the program provides students with a solid foundation in the field of management and strategy.  For developing a deeper understanding and developing specialized skills, the students can choose electives in specific areas of interest – Retail, Logistics, finance, marketing, etc.  During the course, students will be sensitized towards the national and global level issues; develop skills and practices that ensure lifelong learning and independent problem-solving.
