Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is one of the widely adopted techniques not only in the IT industries but also in the non-IT industries to automate their monotonous and laborious tasks to gain efficiency, accuracy, and cost management. RPA can be implemented with the help of various RPA tools such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, HelpsSystems, and Pega Robotics.

The B.Des. Programme begins with the common foundation programme for all disciplines.

The first year is a Common Foundation across different streams of design that enables you to acquire the requisite basics before embarking on three years of more specialised design education programme. Hands-on skill courses like Design drawing and Workshop skills like material manipulations, including working on a variety of materials like Wood, Bamboo, Sheet metal, Aluminium, and others form an integral part of the course curriculum.

Learn basic design theory, thorough grounding in elements of form, colour, and aesthetics besides the important sensitisation courses like Environmental Perception and History of Design that aim to give you a complete understanding and perspective of Design as a whole.
Apart from these regular inputs, you also get to learn basic computer skills, photography, printing basics, and presentations. Get introduced to critical thinking, culture studies, and communication that give you an edge in your chosen profession. Basics on Leadership courses along with inputs on Entrepreneurship prepare you for a fulfilling career ahead. We encourage you to write blogs, keep a journal, maintain a sketch book to develop deeper interest and insight in the subject.

Mechanical Engineering is one of the primordial branches of engineering. The programme incorporates courses from the area of design, manufacturing, and thermal. To remain in sync with the industry, the programme offers compulsory core courses, department electives, interdisciplinary courses, open electives, and practice schools for industrial training. The associated laboratory work and projects provide an opportunity for hands-on experience and a better understanding of the course.
