The programme is designed to generate employable IT workforce having sound knowledge of IT which can be used to produce and customize solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering for the students to grasp enriched knowledge by IT industries driven curriculum. The major focus of this course is to nurture and sharpen student’s IT skills with project based learning. Recurrent interactions with experts from renowned IT companies help the students to learn and master emerging technologies. The course tries to fill the gap between the industry and academia with regular workshops and expert talks.

The Prosthodontics Department is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in several areas: Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Occlusion and TMJ Dysfunction, Dental Implants and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. We are committed to continuing professional development and postgraduate courses. We strive to let our patients have a unique, holistic, professional experience when they visit our department. We are also committed to providing the highest standard of dental care available. The postgraduate programme is designed for advanced training in the rehabilitation of completely edentulous, partially edentulous patients and patients requiring Implants and Maxillofacial prosthesis.

The academic schedule is designed to include seminars, journal club presentations, case presentations and a dissertation. Courses are evaluated and updated annually for contents and are augmented with technology to teach the latest techniques in Prosthodontics within comprehensive treatment planning, Implant Dentistry, Occlusion and Aesthetics. We further aim to pursue research of high quality, and to constantly improve on our teaching techniques/methods.

Aviation is the backbone of the global economy. As an introductory course, this course will amplify the importance of the global and regional tourism and airlines systems to the students from an open system perspective. As a basic introduction to the discipline, this course will introduce the student to the basic principles of Airlines, Tourism & Hospitality industry. The course will make the student to focus on the intricate aspects of three major tourism industry components viz: accommodation, travel and visitor services. This course will indicate how direct and indirect links between these components are mandatory for the very success of a country’s tourism industry and in turn the global tourism industry.

These oral diseases often reveal other health issues that may require a follow-up with the patient’s primary physician. Dentists provide services that improve patients’ appearance and self-confidence through a wide variety of cosmetic dental procedures. These services can make patients feel better about their smiles. Dentists provide an essential health care service. They are highly respected within the community. Dentists are skilled, conscientious, civic-minded individuals who work with community leaders, educators, other health professionals and government officials. They often volunteer services to school health programs and to elderly, handicapped or poor citizens, demonstrating a selflessness that is a hallmark of professionalism.

An advanced undergraduate degree in Nursing to prepare the students to create a lucrative career in the field of nursing by training them in holistic nursing care in sync with global standards. With ever-increasing emphasis on healthcare, the demand for professionally trained nurses is also on a rise. Nursing field is considered one of the best choices for medically-inclined youth. This course trains the students in comprehensive patient care and different aspects of nursing like community health nursing, ICU nursing, critical care nursing etc.      

Periodontology is the dental specialty that focuses on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gingiva, or “gums” and other surrounding tissues. The Department of Periodontology & Oral Implantology educates the under graduate students in the didactic and clinical applications necessary to perform the entire spectrum of periodontal procedures. The department includes MDS programme which is a three-year program with an intake capacity of 5 students per year. The department also includes the Dental Hygiene Program, which has a intake capacity of 20 students per year. The goal of the Department is to promote periodontal dentistry as dental medicine where prevention can be practiced. Periodontists believe that personal good oral hygiene behaviors are best taught to and practiced by age-specific and social groups through oral health education. Periodontal medicine perceives good oral health as an open gateway to good general systemic health, and documents the many links to general systemic health affected by the destructive presence of inflammation and oral infection from bacteria.

MM(DU)offers B.Sc. Dialysis Therapy course for students keen to gain specialization in practice and usage of dialysis. The course prepares graduates who are competent and skilled to treat various diseases related to kidney and perform dialysis on patients suffering from kidney failure. Students are given in-depth training for using the equipment for dialysis treatment, water treatment monitoring, dialyses reprocessing, vascular access monitoring and also about direct patient care. We also train the students in dialysis prescription interpretation, safety and sanitation, emergency interventions, and professional standards and ethics.

Pediatric dentistry encompasses a variety of disciplines, techniques and procedures to modify and adapt to the special needs of infants, children and adolescents. Pediatric Dentistry is an “Age Defined” specialty. In this department, students perform all types of preventive and comprehensive dental procedures in children up to the age of 14 years. Further, a child friendly environment is provided considering the variable behavior needs of the growing children and thus instilling in them a positive attitude towards dentistry.

The BBA course aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising there from. The course not only provides knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also provides inputs necessary for the overall development of the personality of the students.
