Mody University of Science and Technology offers 2-year M. Tech in Nuclear Science & Technology (NST) program. The curriculum covers basic concepts of nuclear science and engineering, plasma physics and fusion reactors, nuclear safety, nuclear waste disposal technology, radioactivity in the environment, and applications of radiation and radio-isotopes in industry and medicine. The course curriculum derived from the needs of the Nuclear Industry and application-oriented pedagogy enables students to be job-ready.

The course is designed to cover all advanced aspects of various sciences’ applications in Forensic Science such as DNA Profiling, Forensic Ballistics, Forensic Medicine and Forensic Anthropology, etc. The course offers the following four specializations,

• Forensic Biotechnology and DNA Profiling
• Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology
• Questioned Document Examination
• Digital Forensics

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Honours) is an undergraduate Mathematics degree program. Mathematics is the branch of structure, space, quantity, and change. B.Sc. Math Honours course provides in-depth knowledge about trigonometry, geometry, calculus, and numerous other theories in Mathematics or respective disciplines.

Bachelor of Business Administration is an undergraduate Business Management course. This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of Management education and to train the students in communication skills effectively which inculcate entrepreneurship skills.

The department of Computer Science and Engineering imparts world-class education, training, and research. The contents of the courses under the department are continuously updated and the laboratories are modernized to incorporate the rapid changes in technology and industry. The program requires a student to choose three subjects out of the following: English Literature, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, History, Geography, French, Journalism & Mass Communication, and Sanskrit to suit her needs and interests along with achieving her career objectives. The candidates who are pursuing the B.A. program can also opt for higher studies or seek employment in the public or private sector with the multiple options available across the globe. They can opt for an M.A. course in any of the subjects they study as a part of their BA program. The students who wish to study for a professional degree can get into an MBA program at any of the prestigious Management Institutes of India. Besides government jobs, some of the private sectors which employ BA degree holders are BPO/KPO, NGOs, Educational Institutes, IT, Media and Journalism, and PR Firms.

The course has been designed around the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The students are trained in all disciplines of Forensic Science and Law. They are exposed to several forensic fields such as forensic chemistry and toxicology, forensic biology, DNA profiling, question documents, and fingerprinting. State-of-the-art and cutting-edge laboratories have been established in the Forensic Science department to impart all kinds of hands-on and practical knowledge.

Psychology is one of the important disciplines in the area of behavioral sciences. It is the scientific study of human behavior. In the present era of stress and change, there has been a rapid increase in the demand of professionals in the various fields of Psychology. Considering such requirements, the postgraduate programme in Psychology aims to create experts in the fields of Guidance and Counselling Psychology as well as in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Specialization in Clinical Psychology is also offered.

The Ph.D. programme is appropriate for candidates who wish to become academicians or seek to advance research in design and merchandising domains. Ph.D. in Design, Fashion & Merchandising aims to impart knowledge about the nature of design research, especially in relation to the responsible role of designers in propelling our society towards a more sustainable future. It is designed for highly creative and motivated professionals who wish to conduct rigorous and intensive design research.
