The M.A./M.Sc. degree in Applied Psychology is awarded following completion of a two-year graduate programme committed to the study and application of psychological principles and findings. The programme benefits from a strong culture of interdisciplinary research and learning, practical exposure, and hands-on application. The degree and instruction are jointly provided by the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS) and the Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling (JSPC).

The programme aims to instil the necessary knowledge and skills for each student’s personal and academic growth, preparing them for immediate employment or Doctorate study.

The objective of the Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA, 5 year Degree programme is to enable students to embark upon a management career after completing 10+2 level examination. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue chosen areas of specialization.

The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. This programme will create excellent managers and also instill the spirit of entrepreneurship so that the students evolve into leaders and wealth creators in the years to come.

The Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA programme at JGBS being one of the most rigorous in the country is designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular format. Activities like live projects, field assignments and simulation games will form an integral part of the programme.

Field work such as the India Dream Project, Business Internship and Team-Consulting Assignment will help achieve holistic learning and also provide for a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary business environment. Option for a Post Graduate Degree Abroad: In the fifth year, students have the option to enroll for 1-year MS Degree with a partner foreign university subject to the terms and conditions of the host university.

The aim of the 4-year Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons.) programme is to educate visual thinkers, who can critically address this new imagery landscape and the social challenges that it yields. While ensuring the mastery of our students over traditional skills of craftsmanship and image-making, they will be encouraged to approach art with conceptual and theoretical tools.

The B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology at JGU is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to be an effective actor in our rapidly changing world. It does so by exposing you to the means to analyse and explore that world (methodology), to debate the various ways in which society and culture has been understood and explained (theory), to understand the linkages between the many levels of society and culture which of necessity touch on the economic, political, psychological, ecological and environment, and on the workings of the human imagination in the arts and creative activities (holism), and to explore how the insights generated can be applied in the real world (policy).

The B.A. Economics (Honours) degree at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) aims to provide theoretical and practical knowledge that makes accurate analysis of the economic situation possible.

B.A. Economics graduates from JSGP must be able to understand the interrelation between the economy and society: to consider economic problems from a global perspective and take a local approach to solve them; to make connections between an economic system’s different components; to gauge the implications of decisions related to economic policy; and to respond to the economic problems arising from society in general and the different units that interact therein (e.g. institutions, private companies and sectors of the economy).

The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. Bachelor of Business Administration is an Under-Graduate Business Management course. The duration of a Bachelor of Business Administration is three-four years, divided into several semesters. The Bachelor of Business Administration course can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. Bachelor of Business Administration is often referred to as B.B.A (General) or B.B.A Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific, and one can choose several combinations of subjects, apart from two Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute.

This degree program is designed to help individuals develop the understanding necessary to successfully manage a business owned and operated by a family. Classes typically teach topics such as ownership control, succession and strategic relationships.
