P.G. Diploma in Research and Innovation (Jindal Fellowship Programme) aims to enhance research potential and capacity of students interested in pursuing research-based careers in the social sciences and humanities. The programme is designed to take students’ undergraduate education to the next level by enabling them to achieve in-depth understanding of the domains they have begun to explore.

As a PG Diploma in Research and Innovation (Jindal Fellowship Programme) scholar, the student will have an academic mentor for the whole year, working with her/his research ideas as well as an expert supervisor, who will guide her/him through the research internship of four months.

Programme Features

• Fellows engage meaningfully with a discipline and research area which they are interested in, through active mentorship and research supervision.
• During the first semester, students finish required and optional coursework. In the second, they complete a four-month long internship, preferably within a Research Centre in JGU.

The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. The Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA programme at JGBS being one of the most rigorous in the country is designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular format. Activities like live projects, field assignments and simulation games will form an integral part of the programme.

Field work such as the India Dream Project, Business Internship and Team-Consulting Assignment will help achieve holistic learning and also provide for a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary business environment. Option for a Post Graduate Degree Abroad: In the fifth year, students have the option to enroll for 1-year MS Degree with a partner foreign university subject to the terms and conditions of the host university.

The Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) is India’s first school of Global Policy, established in 2015 and offers a dynamic undergraduate programme: a 3-year B.A. (Hons.) in Global Affairs. Conceptualised as India’s first ever interdisciplinary undergraduate degree, it shall train students for international careers through basic learning in world affairs. It will help students acquire a holistic understanding of political theories and international affairs, develop in-depth knowledge of a region by offering various study abroad programmes associated with top ranking educational institutions across the globe. This course will teach students how to systematically apply methodological research, analysis, and historically contextualise contemporary global events. The B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology at JGU is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to be an effective actor in our rapidly changing world. It does so by exposing you to the means to analyse and explore that world (methodology), to debate the various ways in which society and culture has been understood and explained (theory), to understand the linkages between the many levels of society and culture which of necessity touch on the economic, political, psychological, ecological and environment, and on the workings of the human imagination in the arts and creative activities (holism), and to explore how the insights generated can be applied in the real world (policy).

The B.A. (Hons.) Film and New Media programme is a three-year undergraduate programme to nurture filmmakers and new media artists of the future. After establishing a journalism programme comparable to the best in the world in 2017, we are now venturing into the exciting world of filmmaking. In the centenary year of the birth of the legendary filmmaker, Satyajit Ray, we are launching the B.A.(Hons.) Film and New Media programme at JSJC.

The B.A. (Hons.) Film and New Media programme is one of the few that look to equip students with the expertise to be full-fledged film professionals at an undergraduate level. It provides tools to let the students work on their creative expressions in a general university setting. It will help create an environment of free and open learning where students will be encouraged to find an original voice to push the boundaries of the audiovisual culture/ medium. We also honour the liberal arts tradition in our courses.

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 5 years integrated Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B (Hons)) programme since its inception in 2009. Through a combination of courses in Arts and Law subjects, the programme is designed in keeping with the latest Bar Council of India rules and the University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students.

• The B.A. LL.B course provides a holistic understanding of the legal discipline through a combination of humanities, and law. This multidisciplinary approach equips the students to apply the law to the facts.
• The students study foundational courses and get an opportunity to explore their interests via elective courses and independent research projects.
