The Global B.Com. (Hons.) is the first programme being launched under the India Australia Global Education Initiative.The programme will offer innovative models of global education, training, and research for students in India. Students will commence studies with JGU in India and subsequently transfer to a Deakin University campus in Australia. 

The Global B.Com. (Hons.) offered in collaboration between JGU and Deakin University promises an education experience that blends the best of both institutions through an industry-relevant education portfolio,world-class faculty, and dynamic learning environment on the campuses of JGU in India and Deakin University in Australia. The unique portfolio of two undergraduate degrees from both institutions and a master’s degree from Deakin will ensure that graduates have an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in two international university systems.

The B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology at JGU is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to be an effective actor in our rapidly changing world. It does so by exposing you to the means to analyse and explore that world (methodology), to debate the various ways in which society and culture has been understood and explained (theory), to understand the linkages between the many levels of society and culture which of necessity touch on the economic, political, psychological, ecological and environment, and on the workings of the human imagination in the arts and creative activities (holism), and to explore how the insights generated can be applied in the real world (policy).

Bachelor of Business Administration is an Under-Graduate Business Management course. The duration of a Bachelor of Business Administration is three-four years, divided into several semesters. The Bachelor of Business Administration course can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. Bachelor of Business Administration is often referred to as B.B.A (General) or B.B.A Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific, and one can choose several combinations of subjects, apart from two Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute.

This degree program is designed to help individuals develop the understanding necessary to successfully manage a business owned and operated by a family. Classes typically teach topics such as ownership control, succession and strategic relationships. Students discover ways to attain common goals, address conflicts and create plans for the company’s future.

In the year 2021, we face an increasing array of environmental challenges that require greater levels of innovation and collaboration among industry, government, academics and communities. Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) hopes to support the global efforts (India/Asia/Global South) toward a sustainable future with cutting-edge teaching, research and practice-based engagement. Through national and international collaborations, JSES will promote interdisciplinary studies, joint teaching and research programmes, and a comparative perspective on environment and sustainability issues. JSES has now opened admissions to the B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sustainable Development programme for the academic year 2022-23.

The B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sustainable Development uniquely combines natural and social sciences with humanities to equip students with a thorough understanding of sustainable development and its many facets. The programme is distinguishable from the B.A. in Environmental Studies based on its specific focus on the Sustainable Development Goals and its emphasis on scientific knowledge.

The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.) Degree programme is designed to give a global business management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction. Today’s global economy rewards people who can traverse borders, understand cultures and operate in an international- context. The MPH is a research-intensive two-year postgraduate degree programme that enables students to attain foundational training, skills and competencies to embark on a career in public health both in the Indian and global context. Building on the level of internationalization at JGU, the programme introduces students to a multiplicity of approaches and seeks to build competencies through a range of core courses, electives, specializations, dissertations and capstone options. In addition, students have the options of undertaking semester exchange and study abroad programmes with key institutions and centers of excellence in public health. The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
 

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice (B.A. (Hons.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice) programme. The programme is designed in complaince with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Criminology as a branch of knowledge is built on certain foundations which include a thorough understanding of criminal justice system, elementary knowledge of criminal law, and an appreciation of rule of law. Criminology improves the criminal justice system by contributing to the effective enforcement of criminal law.
