Jindal Global University offers a well-designed undergraduate curriculum through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that leads students to proficiency in the Spanish language and familiarity with Hispanic cultures. The duration of the BA (Hons.) Spanish programme is three years (six semesters) full time. The curriculum ensures wide and deep engagement of students with a variety of cultural forms, including literature, drama and other arts (e.g., cinema, music). Students of the programme will have opportunities to be tested for Spanish proficiency certificates that are awarded by official cultural agencies. Many courses of the BA (Hons.) The programme enables students to attain B2 Spanish proficiency level at the end of the program by completing stages of language learning specified by the internationally accepted Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF). The Bachelors of Architecture Program at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA) is a five-year program in architecture which prepares you for a career as a licensed architect in India. The unique program at JSAA is divided into two parts; the Major and the Minor. In the Major you learn about material and making, about design thinking. You explore the social, historical, political, economic and technological interfaces of architecture. The major allows you to participate in exchange studios and collaborative works with students from some of the best schools in architecture such as AAP (Cornell), DAAP (University of Cincinnati), Bartlett (University College of London). The program places you in multiple internships at leading firms where you gain work experience, learn from and interact with the best architects in India and the world.

In addition to the Major, the program at the JSAA also allows you to choose one minor area of study. The minor areas of study are carefully designed to provide you with additional skillsets which no other program of architecture in the country provides. The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
 

The objective of the Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA, 5 year Degree programme is to enable students to embark upon a management career after completing 10+2 level examination. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue chosen areas of specialization.

The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. This programme will create excellent managers and also instill the spirit of entrepreneurship so that the students evolve into leaders and wealth creators in the years to come.

The Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA programme at JGBS being one of the most rigorous in the country is designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular format. The curriculum, focusing exclusively on Analytics, is uniquely designed for the young minds who need to acquire the combination of skill sets of Business Management and Information Technology. The specialized programme is meant for those people who are interested to solve business problems in a data driven manner. Hence, the curriculum covers Information Technology (IT), Statistical Methods as well as all business aspects in detail.

The Bachelor of Design is a professional degree program for students who wish to work towards improving the inhabited spaces through experimental, experiential, and informed design processes. The program teaches students to imagine, propose, test and refine their ideas about how to live and dwell in the contemporary world and trains students in the knowledge systems that help anticipate changes in the future built environments (from domestic to urban scale). The program uniquely places student-centred inquiry as the core learning, through a sequential studio sequence culminating in a customized capstone design project. These courses are taught by internationally-trained design professors. The professional practice courses include new forms of social and technical knowledge: diversity, sustainability, digital representations and professional ethics. Other features of the program comprise diverse, customizable electives, a flexible system of minors in multiple subjects taught across schools within the university. Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities is India’s first transnational humanities school. It’s B.A. Hons. Liberal Arts and Humanities programme adopts an innovative pedagogy and focuses on a strong interdisciplinary foundation in arts, social sciences and humanities subjects, with specialisations in specific areas.

The study of liberal arts inspires the development of the whole person through rigorous reading and writing, along with active experiential learning inside and outside the classroom, in an atmosphere of academic and intellectual freedom, a close faculty-student engagement, and small classes. Over the first two years of the Bachelor of Arts degree, students train in the foundational aspects of the liberal arts through core courses in humanities and social sciences. They also study electives at JSLH and across the 12 different schools at JGU. To get first hand industry experience, liberal arts students also undertake one-month internships between every semester. In the final year of the programme they choose a major – one subject – as an area for concentrated study and also write a thesis. The thesis is a detailed work of substantial length and depth over a subject specialism chosen from the liberal arts courses covered during the programme.

The activities spanned over areas, e.g., community services, charity, awareness building, investigation, research, policy-making, legal advice, and cause lawyering.
