 The B.A. (Hons.) Political Science at the Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) brings multiple social science perspectives to canonical questions of political science, and adopts a comprehensive perspective to a political science education that is sustained far beyond the confines of a classroom. We bring in practitioners’ knowledge to ground theory, incorporate domestic, regional, and global politics through our diverse global faculty, provide opportunities for experiential learning in India and abroad with the help of dedicated staff, and incorporate skill-based learning into our curriculum.

We achieve this through courses centred around research methods, opportunities to partake in faculty collaborations with external partner organisations, study abroad and semester exchange programmes, research experience gained through working with faculty mentors as well as in our research centres. JSIA employs courses that focus on skills and political literacy from a year-long grounding in critical reading and writing, as well as learning to analyse news media and political institutions through primary sources with a critical perspective, to advanced elective options for multi-methods training and independent research studies.

The LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes at JGLS are offered under the aegis of the CGLS. It is established to provide students with quality teaching and learning opportunities thereby creating an intellectually stimulating academic environment with experienced and dedicated faculty committed to provide an excellent and world-class education.

The B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology at JGU is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to be an effective actor in our rapidly changing world. It does so by exposing you to the means to analyse and explore that world (methodology), to debate the various ways in which society and culture has been understood and explained (theory), to understand the linkages between the many levels of society and culture which of necessity touch on the economic, political, psychological, ecological and environment, and on the workings of the human imagination in the arts and creative activities (holism), and to explore how the insights generated can be applied in the real world (policy).

The Bachelors of Architecture Program at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA) is a five-year program in architecture which prepares you for a career as a licensed architect in India. The unique program at JSAA is divided into two parts; the Major and the Minor. In the Major you learn about material and making, about design thinking. You explore the social, historical, political, economic and technological interfaces of architecture. The major allows you to participate in exchange studios and collaborative works with students from some of the best schools in architecture such as AAP (Cornell), DAAP (University of Cincinnati), Bartlett (University College of London). The program places you in multiple internships at leading firms where you gain work experience, learn from and interact with the best architects in India and the world.

In addition to the Major, the program at the JSAA also allows you to choose one minor area of study. The minor areas of study are carefully designed to provide you with additional skillsets which no other program of architecture in the country provides. As a result, you emerge as an architect with a unique combination of abilities which can be applied across multiple industries and sectors.

Business Analytics deals with the study, analysis and interpretation of all data about businesses. The curriculum, focusing exclusively on Analytics, is uniquely designed for the young minds who need to acquire the combination of skill sets of Business Management and Information Technology. The specialized programme is meant for those people who are interested to solve business problems in a data driven manner. Hence, the curriculum covers Information Technology (IT), Statistical Methods as well as all business aspects in detail.

The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.)- Business Analytics degree program at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) is designed to give theoretical and practical knowledge for the students keen to pursue careers that leverage Analytics strengths in a variety of functions and industries. The BA (Hons.) English (Language and Literature) programme is a well-designed curriculum delivered through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that, first, leads students to mastery of the English language, and second, encourages their intensive engagement with literary and performative cultures expressed in the English language. While ‘literature in English’ is not the same thing as world literature, the English language is by now arguably the most important medium of world literature.
