The B.A. (Hons.) Diplomacy and Foreign Policy programme aims to equip students with an overview of the various instruments a state may use to pursue its foreign policy in a complex and challenging world order at the intersection of a detailed consideration of the constraints and limits it faces in the international domain, emanating from the rise/fall of globalisation, social and economic rights, and communication technologies which are central to media-based public diplomacy. It is the first and only unique Bachelor’s degree programme in India which integrates the study of related fields of foreign policy in the context of preservation of a state’s sovereignty and national interests, decision-making models of national leaders, hard and soft power in a fast-changing world order, and the essentials of statecraft– all combined into a single seamless Bachelor’s degree. This programme ensures that students gain a comprehensive foundation for understanding and applying classroom learnings as well as shaping their careers. Students will be introduced to diverse ideas and concepts of statehood and nationhood, national interest and diplomacy, the interaction between foreign policy formation and processes, and security, war, peace, sustainable development and other non-traditional domains involving social, political and economic rights as well.

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice (B.A. (Hons.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice) programme. The programme is designed in complaince with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Criminology as a branch of knowledge is built on certain foundations which include a thorough understanding of criminal justice system, elementary knowledge of criminal law, and an appreciation of rule of law. Criminology improves the criminal justice system by contributing to the effective enforcement of criminal law. Through the programme, the School aims to build criminal justice professionals who can contribute to the administration of the justice by upholding the values of rule of law.

The Global B.Com. (Hons.) is the first programme being launched under the India Australia Global Education Initiative.The programme will offer innovative models of global education, training, and research for students in India. Students will commence studies with JGU in India and subsequently transfer to a Deakin University campus in Australia. 

The Global B.Com. (Hons.) offered in collaboration between JGU and Deakin University promises an education experience that blends the best of both institutions through an industry-relevant education portfolio,world-class faculty, and dynamic learning environment on the campuses of JGU in India and Deakin University in Australia. The unique portfolio of two undergraduate degrees from both institutions and a master’s degree from Deakin will ensure that graduates have an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in two international university systems.

Programme Introduction” to the following “Students continuing on to the Master’s programme will spend another 1.5 years at Deakin University pursuing their post-graduation at the end of which they will graduate with the MBA (International Business) degree in addition to the two undergraduate degrees

The Bachelors of Architecture Program at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA) is a five-year program in architecture which prepares you for a career as a licensed architect in India. The unique program at JSAA is divided into two parts; the Major and the Minor. In the Major you learn about material and making, about design thinking. You explore the social, historical, political, economic and technological interfaces of architecture. The major allows you to participate in exchange studios and collaborative works with students from some of the best schools in architecture such as AAP (Cornell), DAAP (University of Cincinnati), Bartlett (University College of London). The program places you in multiple internships at leading firms where you gain work experience, learn from and interact with the best architects in India and the world.

In addition to the Major, the program at the JSAA also allows you to choose one minor area of study. The minor areas of study are carefully designed to provide you with additional skillsets which no other program of architecture in the country provides. As a result, you emerge as an architect with a unique combination of abilities which can be applied across multiple industries and sectors.

The Bachelor of Design is a professional degree program for students who wish to work towards improving the inhabited spaces through experimental, experiential, and informed design processes. The program teaches students to imagine, propose, test and refine their ideas about how to live and dwell in the contemporary world and trains students in the knowledge systems that help anticipate changes in the future built environments (from domestic to urban scale). The program uniquely places student-centred inquiry as the core learning, through a sequential studio sequence culminating in a customized capstone design project. These courses are taught by internationally-trained design professors. The professional practice courses include new forms of social and technical knowledge: diversity, sustainability, digital representations and professional ethics. Other features of the program comprise diverse, customizable electives, a flexible system of minors in multiple subjects taught across schools within the university. This is a program for students with ambition, imagination and curiosity who wish to imagine and lead the design of a better world, and wishes to become knowledgeable and influential future design professions.

Business Analytics deals with the study, analysis and interpretation of all data about businesses. The curriculum, focusing exclusively on Analytics, is uniquely designed for the young minds who need to acquire the combination of skill sets of Business Management and Information Technology. The specialized programme is meant for those people who are interested to solve business problems in a data driven manner. Hence, the curriculum covers Information Technology (IT), Statistical Methods as well as all business aspects in detail.

The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.)- Business Analytics degree program at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) is designed to give theoretical and practical knowledge for the students keen to pursue careers that leverage Analytics strengths in a variety of functions and industries. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
The Architectural Studies program, is geared towards students who are especially keen to embark on a career of engaging with the built environment from the point of view of nature, culture, history, politics and society. Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights (B.A. (Hons.) in Human Rights) programme. The programme is designed in keeping with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Since its recognition as a right through Magna Carta, human rights have found a cardinal place in societies, irrespective of the nature of society or the form of government. The pan human perspective of human rights helped all members of society-irrespective of their class, creed, community, gender, and nationality-to become bearers of the rights. With the evolution of society from medieval monarchies to more advanced forms of social governance in modernity, human rights have become broader and inclusive. Our globalizing society has witnessed the rise of human rights as a profession, mainly under the aegis of the United Nations (UN) through various general and particular programmes of aid and assistance. These programmes percolated to the national, regional, and local levels through many sub-national human rights initiatives and activities. The activities spanned over areas, e.g., community services, charity, awareness building, investigation, research, policy-making, legal advice, and cause lawyering.

 The B.A. (Hons.) Political Science at the Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) brings multiple social science perspectives to canonical questions of political science, and adopts a comprehensive perspective to a political science education that is sustained far beyond the confines of a classroom. We bring in practitioners’ knowledge to ground theory, incorporate domestic, regional, and global politics through our diverse global faculty, provide opportunities for experiential learning in India and abroad with the help of dedicated staff, and incorporate skill-based learning into our curriculum.

We achieve this through courses centred around research methods, opportunities to partake in faculty collaborations with external partner organisations, study abroad and semester exchange programmes, research experience gained through working with faculty mentors as well as in our research centres. JSIA employs courses that focus on skills and political literacy from a year-long grounding in critical reading and writing, as well as learning to analyse news media and political institutions through primary sources with a critical perspective, to advanced elective options for multi-methods training and independent research studies.
