Geotechnical Engineering  uses soil mechanics and rock mechanics for investigating underground conditions and materials, determine the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of such materials to assess the strength of available natural slopes and the man-made deposit for assessing the risks posed by site conditions. This in turn is useful for designing earthworks and structure. Foundations and monitoring of environmental conditions, land use and foundation construction.

M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering prepares a student to apply mathematical as well as scientific principles in the process of construction, development, and evaluation of systems and underground components, including land and rock, movement and stabilization, dumping sites. , structural use, and the environmental sustainability of waste and by-products, underground construction, and groundwater content and hazardous substances.

B.Sc Medical Lab Technology is of three-year duration and involves clinical rotation in final year of study. Clinical rotation provides valuable experience to students giving hands on learning in each discipline of the laboratory and under close supervision of guided faculty. The course is interdisciplinary and students can opt for subjects from other fields besides traditional subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Cytology and Tissue Culture.
