Students in this specialisation learn the essential computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases and software engineering and design processes, but also concepts such as Big Data related concepts such as functional programming using python, distributed computing, data ingestion tools, NoSQL database, and other technologies to build big data pipeline.

Pharmaceutical Biotechnology can be defined as that branch of study which applies principles of biotechnology in development of therapeutics. This is one of the fastest growing areas in the pharma sector. Development of diagnostics as a point of care using pharmaceutical Biotechnology is widespread in todays’ world. Common biopharmaceutical products include proteins, antibodies, aptamers, recombinant DNA products, gene therapy, engineered enzyme, etc.  Pharmaceutical biotechnology companies develop tailor-made medicine for maximum therapeutic effects. A majority of therapeutic drugs in the current market are pharmaceutical application biotechnology principles such as antibodies, nucleic acid products and vaccines.

This multidisciplinary course has broad scope not only with theoretical knowledge, but with skill development opportunities and also focuses on practical content, exposure to pre-clinical studies and marketing. This course will cover all the technologies associated with production, manufacturing and registration of biological drugs. Applied Mathematics focuses on the innovative creation and imaginative use of mathematical concepts to present and solve problems over the various field of natural sciences, engineering sciences, medical sciences and emerging fields such as data sciences and artificial intelligence. The program is designed to provide students an increased knowledge and comprehensive understanding of mathematics, particularly in algorithms, fluid mechanics, differential equations, probability and stochastics, and optimisation. 

The full term of two years and the syllabus for the program is divided into four semesters. This Master’s program is also an ideal preparation for various PhD programs in basic sciences and engineering.  

B. Tech. Chemical Engineering Spl in Refining and Petrochemicals is a specialization running since 2010 and has been accredited by NBA in 2019. This program enables students to have in-depth knowledge regarding the oil, gas, chemical, and the petrochemical sector, with major future prospects in industries like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance, Phillips Carbon Black Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Lab, etc. The program deals with courses like Petroleum refining technology, Petrochemical process technology, Catalyst design and catalysis, Chemical Industry 4.0 etc. which prepares the student to be ready for any oil and gas industry. We have our student alumni with this degree doing extremely well in both PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Limited and also private sector like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance etc.

This course provides students with the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of, and to reflect deeply upon, some of the most significant conceptual and practical issues associated with the future of the environment. The legal study of environmental issues not only provides insight into how societies respond to environmental problems but also how our lives are structured and designed to accommodate environmental issues.

Aerodynamics is the science of moving air and its impact on solid bodies placed in the flow field as an obstacle. Being a sub-field, most of the equations from fluid dynamics apply to aerodynamics as well, including all the governing equations, turbulence, boundary layer theory, and ideal gas assumption. Racing cars and wind turbines are examples of technologies outside of aerospace in which aerodynamics engineering play a prominent part. Aerodynamic engineering often uses a mix of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), wind tunnel work and ultimately flight-testing to achieve a solution. CFD is widely accepted as a key tool for aerodynamic design. Reynolds Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) solutions are a common tool, and methodologies like Large Eddy Simulation (LES) that were once confined to simple canonical flows (isotropic turbulence in a box, channel flow), are moving to complex engineering applications.

B. Pharmacy is a four-year undergraduate professional program spread across eight semesters which deals with the study of medicines. The core subjects of the program include pharmaceutical chemistry (chemistry of medicinal compounds), pharmaceutics (manufacturing of dosage forms such as tablets, capsules etc.), pharmacology (action of drugs on the body and action of body on the drugs) and pharmacognosy (medicinal drugs obtained from plants and other natural sources). In addition to the core subjects defined by PCI, electives such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Design Thinking and Data Analytics are offered to the students.

The emphasis of the course is upon how international trade economics interacts with domestic investment law and cross-border investment law keeping in view MNC’s as well as other state and non-state actors.
