Pharmaceutical Biotechnology can be defined as that branch of study which applies principles of biotechnology in development of therapeutics. Forensic science is a highly advanced research method used in criminal and civil investigations to address critical questions. An integral part of the criminal justice system, it includes techniques such as the analysis of fingerprints, DNA analysis, and ballistics and explosives.

This course has been designed keeping in mind the close interrelation between law and forensic science to make students well-versed with the fundamental and advanced concepts of forensic science and its application in legal jurisprudence.

Smart grid is the emerging energy system wherein the application of information technology, tools and techniques make the grid run more efficiently. Frequently occurring high impact low probability natural disaster and cyber-attack creates the need for future-ready resilient smart grid. The challenges and opportunities of emerging and future smart grids can be addressed by computing techniques. The objective of this minor specialisation is to provide different computing applications for energy management in the smart grid architecture and science of resilient smart grid against natural disaster and cyber-attacks.

Business Process Disruptions focus on risks associated with business processes. In this program, the nature of disruptions are understood in detail with a focus on supply chain and logistics. Clinical Research enables health care professionals to develop new therapies and diagnostic procedures and medical devices to ensure better patient care. M.Sc. in Clinical Research is a 2-year postgraduate course aimed at providing experiential learning with comprehensive curriculum.
