B.Sc (H) Physics, with specialization in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Computational Physics would be a full time 3-year undergraduate program in Physics. This program is designed for students who not only want to build a sound base in Physics, but also wish to study Astronomy and Astrophysics/Computational Physics. Thus, the students in this program would not only study the conventional modules in Physics at undergraduate level, but would also study modules on Astronomy and Astrophysics/Computational Physics.

The specialization equips students with extensive knowledge allowing them to opt for various careers in academics, industries and research fields. Students who are enrolled in integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. with specialization in Analytical Chemistry program, can enhance their skills related to evaluation, measurement, and interpretation of scientific data. The plethora of research area among the faculty members provides an understanding of different future oriented aspects of chemistry.  The Laboratory courses are designed to offer comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience on sophisticated techniques. The last semester of the program is dedicated to dissertation work making students aware about the application of concepts on real-life challenges. Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - (Interaction Design) in Interaction Design trains students to research, analyze, prototype, and design concepts in business, social, and cultural contexts within existing and emerging technologies. Students will gain proficiency in creating engaging user interfaces, ranging from 2D screen (UI for web and mobile) to 3D (AR/VR and will be able to conceptualize user experiences around new and emerging technology, and design to make interfaces more usable, useful and pleasant.

UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme in User Experience and Interaction Design blends technical know-how, interdisciplinary research and a creative artistic-scientific approach. This enables the development of creative interfaces that generate progressive and innovative applications for media design, media research, media art, and communication. The graduates will gain proficiency in creating engaging user interfaces, ranging from 2D screen (UI for web and mobile) to 3D (AR/VR).

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

This specialised undergraduate program deals with the business, policy governance, regulatory, and legal aspects of various non-renewable/fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. The course covers the business cycle operations, regulatory policies, governance mechanism and all-round legal perspectives in the entire energy basket market including commercial, taxation, and environmental governance aspects.

The course is dynamic in nature and gives students the time and space to explore different aspects of the digital media landscape. The thematic focus for study majorly revolves around Mass Media and its roots in social communication; Digital Marketing; Social Media; Digital Media Communication; PR and Advertising and Digital Media and Contemporary Relevance. Enrolled students will get equipped in skills related to advertising, public relations, digital storytelling, podcasting, etc.

Computational Mathematics involves mathematical research in areas of science and engineering where computing plays an essential role. Some topics of study include developing accurate and efficient numerical methods for solving physical or biological models, analysis of numerical approximations to differential and integral equations, developing computational tools to better understand data and structure, etc.

Forensic science is a highly advanced research method used in criminal and civil investigations to address critical questions. An integral part of the criminal justice system, it includes techniques such as the analysis of fingerprints, DNA analysis, and ballistics and explosives.

This course has been designed keeping in mind the close interrelation between law and forensic science to make students well-versed with the fundamental and advanced concepts of forensic science and its application in legal jurisprudence.
