Digital Studio Management & Live Production is a vital component of the digital media industry. This will include studio videography, vision mixing, live graphics, camera operations, direction and overall production.

UPES School of Design’s Postgraduate Programme, M.Des. in Fashion Design prepares young creative designers to become future fashion thinkers, makers and versatile professionals. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

The program provides students with a vast knowledge of laws around media and entertainment and business, which is crucial in the professional world. The course comprises of 10 semesters with a pedagogy using innovative classroom teaching techniques, workshops, and case studies. UPES provides a unique and focused M.Sc. program with specialization in Organic chemistry. The specialization equips students with extensive knowledge allowing them to opt for various careers in academics, industries and research fields. M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry will help the students to understand the chemical synthesis of various chemicals, products and polymers The plethora of research area among the faculty members provides an understanding of different future oriented aspects of chemistry.  The Laboratory courses are designed to offer comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience on sophisticated techniques. The last semester of the program is dedicated to dissertation work making students aware about the application of concepts on real-life challenges. Biosimilar is that branch of study which deals with study of drugs that are very similar to original product, but not identical. They are not generic drugs and do not possess the same active pharmaceutical ingredient, yet comparable to original reference drug in terms of quality, safety and efficacy. Biosimilar are alternative potential therapeutics but not generics. For biosimilar products, the manufacturing process requires a high level of monitoring and testing.  

At UPES, B.Tech. Biotechnology students with a specialization in Biosimilars will be made familiar with existing regulations, manufacturing sciences and distribution practices of Biosimilar products in India and all across the globe. Students will learn about controversies associated with Generic drugs and need for development of Biosimilar products. Students will also learn how a drug is discovered in a lab, followed by testing in clinical trials and then launched in the market for commercialization.

• Biotechnology Product Management

International Business is altogether different from domestic business. Every country has its own internal and external trade policy, civil and criminal laws, and different business ethics. Consequently, when it comes to entering international contracts, there can be disputes. Hence, CISG (Convention on Contracts for International Sale of Goods), commonly known as Vienna Convention, was promulgated by the United Nations so that there is a common law for global businesses. Anybody who intends to enter international business must be aware of International Business Law to succeed.

Internet of Things is generating a large amount of data daily. The reciprocity of such huge amount of data in the form of text or image or audio can be beneficial for both Big Data Analytics and IoT systems. This makes IoT useful for companies that rely on data analytics to improve their systems. Students looking for a long-term career in this field will find abundance of jobs when they complete their course. Apart from essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java and python, databases, software engineering and design processes, in this specialization students will have an addon in technologies and concepts of IoT and their applicability in smart cities and sustainability.

B.Sc (H) Physics, with specialization in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Computational Physics would be a full time 3-year undergraduate program in Physics. This program is designed for students who not only want to build a sound base in Physics, but also wish to study Astronomy and Astrophysics/Computational Physics. Thus, the students in this program would not only study the conventional modules in Physics at undergraduate level, but would also study modules on Astronomy and Astrophysics/Computational Physics.

PhD (Food & Nutrition Sciences) is the highest degree in the field.
