The B. Tech. Applied Petroleum Engineering spl. in Gas (APEG) is a unique program which allows the students to have the feel of both the upstream – natural gas exploration and production & downstream - natural gas processing and distribution. The students understand the concepts of how natural gas reserves are explored, extracted, processed and then distributed. Students study courses like Enhanced oil recovery, Gasification & Gas to Liquid Technology, liquefied natural gas, city gas distribution etc., with hands-on experience using software like PIPESIM, SIMSCI PIPEPHASE and MATLAB. UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Fashion Design introduces students to a combination of traditional craft techniques with digital technologies to transform concepts from two-dimensional fabrics into three-dimensional forms. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) in Graphics Design prepares students to become proficient and compelling visual storytellers with a focus on the evolving industry and technology. This is a 5-year full-time course, which explores the role of international economic law in the contemporary global economy. It provides an overview of the legal foundations of the global economy and the regulatory frameworks governing international trade and investment relations.

The emphasis of the course is upon how international trade economics interacts with domestic investment law and cross-border investment law keeping in view MNC’s as well as other state and non-state actors.

The specialization in marketing prepares the students on subjects like Financial Institutions and Markets, Behavioural Finance, etc. The program instils the skills, knowledge and aptitude required to develop a holistic understanding of the specialized area, so that the student becomes industry ready.
