Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The specialisation educates students in regulating and resolving disputes relating to both individual labour laws i.e. the employees’ rights at work and the employment standards as well as the tripartite labour laws i.e. the relationship between the employer, employee, and the union. UPES provides students with an opportunity to complete two seminar papers and a dissertation exclusively in labour laws under the mentorship of the faculty and an industry-based professional.

B.Sc. in Polymer  chemistry offered at UPES is a three-year undergraduate course. The program mainly include study of polymers synthesis, polymer properties, polymer processing, polymer testing, polymer degradation, polymer reaction, composites and applications. This specialisation covers computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, android development, Linux administration, database management systems and also provides students with insights into the world of open-source and open standards along with exposure to open-source communities and open-source development methodology.

Smart materials are materials that can respond to external stimuli such as stress, moisture, electric/magnetic field, temperature and pH. They are at the core of sensors used in smart electronics and comprise a huge variety of materials including piezoelectric, shape-memory, photovoltaic, thermoelectric, ferrofluids and self-healing materials. A student opting for this specialisation will be exposed to the properties, synthesis and application of these materials, and will be able to explore one of these material systems in-depth through the dedicated project work.
