Pure mathematics is the study of the basic concepts and structures that underlie mathematics. Its purpose is to search for a deeper understanding and an expanded knowledge of mathematics itself.

PhD Energy Management is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Energy Management.

This course deals with the inter-combination of statistics and computer science with an aim to extract patterns of information from given raw data (unprocessed data) and transform the data to provide meaningful information for business use. It covers the concepts of machine learning used as data mining techniques and touches upon the differences between data science and data mining. Students will be able to use the different data mining techniques such as association, clustering, and use different data mining applications such as market basket analysis and customer relationship management.

The course provides a background for those interested in pursuing careers in governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, management in hospitals or public health institutions, consulting in private firms, school boards, and human resources. The program not only makes you eligible but also gives you a better chance to qualify the Indian Civil Services exams.

The Students enrolling in this specialisation acquire proper training in petroleum engineering with a primary focus on exploration and production of oil and gas. Students gain a thorough knowledge of all major technical aspects in relation to the entire hydrocarbon value-chain and the strategic techno-commercial issues. UPES School of Design’s Postgraduate Programme, M.Des. in Graphics Design prepares students to become proficient and compelling visual storytellers with a focus on the evolving industry and technology. Students are exposed to image design, typography, layout design, branding, design history, research methods, web-based design, digital design, photography, and graphics technology.

Applied Mathematics focuses on the innovative creation and imaginative use of mathematical concepts to present and solve problems over the various field of natural sciences, engineering sciences, medical sciences and emerging fields such as data sciences and artificial intelligence. The program is designed to provide students an increased knowledge and comprehensive understanding of mathematics, particularly in algorithms, fluid mechanics, differential equations, probability and stochastics, and optimisation. 

The full term of two years and the syllabus for the program is divided into four semesters. This Master’s program is also an ideal preparation for various PhD programs in basic sciences and engineering.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The course trains students to assist clients in setting up and managing their businesses across India. The program is a blend of legal functioning of the corporate entities with compliances required by them. Students will be able to provide end-to-end advisory service regarding the most suitable form of organization, based on the client’s specific needs and objectives. This may include incorporation and setting up of all types of Companies, creating a business setup in India through a branch or liaison office, obtaining statutory approvals and licenses for starting a business from local, municipal, state, and central government authorities.
