Plant Biotechnology assist in developing new varieties of crop like genetically engineered crop, marker assisted selection, genetics and genomics, etc. This field of study helps in identifying and mapping genes, discovering their functions and transferring desired gene to specific plants as per requirement. This branch of study also focuses on all aspects of the genetic engineering process to enhance efficiency, expression and precision of added gene.

This programs’ problem-based learning mechanism, emphasizes on genomics, proteomics and metabolomics. The curriculum for Plant Biotechnology is planned with theoretical studies, where students will get hands on experience by performing some of the techniques used to detect genetic variations and its implications in plants. Students will be subjected to problem solving sessions to enhance their ability to apply and design their own research projects.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

Medical law is the branch of law, which concerns the prerogatives and responsibilities of medical professionals and the rights of the patient. It is not the same as medical jurisprudence, which is a branch of medicine, rather than a branch of law.

This course has been designed to include all fundamental and advanced concepts of health and medical law at the national and global level to make learners well-versed with the developments in medical field, health sector, and their legal aspects.

In this specialisation, apart from essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java and python, databases, software engineering and design processes. Students will also obtain an in-depth knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence by implementing relevant real-world problems in a wide variety of application domains such as robotics, computer vision, natural language processing, etc. Students will be experienced in machine learning pipeline, data models, algorithms, and empirics.

The B. Tech. Applied Petroleum Engineering spl. in Gas (APEG) is a unique program which allows the students to have the feel of both the upstream – natural gas exploration and production & downstream - natural gas processing and distribution. The students understand the concepts of how natural gas reserves are explored, extracted, processed and then distributed. Students study courses like Enhanced oil recovery, Gasification & Gas to Liquid Technology, liquefied natural gas, city gas distribution etc., with hands-on experience using software like PIPESIM, SIMSCI PIPEPHASE and MATLAB. The graduate students have a huge scope in companies like Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Petronet LNG, Shell, Halliburton, Adani gas, Reliance, etc

This course deals with the inter-combination of statistics and computer science with an aim to extract patterns of information from given raw data (unprocessed data) and transform the data to provide meaningful information for business use. It covers the concepts of machine learning used as data mining techniques and touches upon the differences between data science and data mining. Students will be able to use the different data mining techniques such as association, clustering, and use different data mining applications such as market basket analysis and customer relationship management.

Dietetics and holistic wellness covers all information concerned with the diet planning and its effects on health, especially with the practical application of a scientific understanding of diet calculation. Dietetics and holistic wellness prepares students to use advanced knowledge about food and diet to help, prevent as well as treat diseases and maintain holistic wellness. Dietetics is a science that deals with the adequacy of diet during normal life cycle and modifications required during diseased condition. Holistic wellness is associated with an active process of being aware and making choices that lead toward an outcome of optimal holistic health and wellbeing. This specialization enable the students to learn the methods of assessing human nutritional requirements, dietary assessment and diet planning. It imparts the understanding of the concepts of diet therapy, basic dietetics, public health, therapeutic nutrition and alternative wellness therapies. It deals with diet monitoring, food exchange and calorie calculation. This specialization covers all Incidence, etiology, pathology & metabolic aberrations, clinical manifestation, complications, dietary management &counseling of Acute and chronic fever, Surgery, burns and trauma. 

This program is designed for students who want not only a sound consolidation of their learnings at undergraduate level in Physics, but also seek specialized training in Electronics catering to the future requirements of the industry. It offers courses from analog and digital electronics, and communication systems. The program is aimed to transform students into professionals ready to participate in industrial revolution 4.0.
