Computational material science involves exploration of material structure, properties and behaviour using modelling, simulation, theory or statistics. It is a wide field that encompasses computational techniques that can simulate electronic structure of materials, explore materials at different length scales: nano, micro, meso and macro scales, predict the structure based on thermodynamic stability and accelerate discovery of novel materials with desired properties. A student opting for this specialisation will get exposed to these techniques and will gain an in-depth expertise on any one technique through the dedicated project work.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) in Fashion Design introduces students to a combination of traditional craft techniques with digital technologies to transform concepts from two-dimensional fabrics into three-dimensional forms. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.

This specialisation explores the complex legal issues arising out of international banking, trade, and business from the standpoint of both transactional perspective and dispute settlement mechanisms (litigation and arbitration). Computational Mathematics involves mathematical research in areas of science and engineering where computing plays an essential role. Some topics of study include developing accurate and efficient numerical methods for solving physical or biological models, analysis of numerical approximations to differential and integral equations, developing computational tools to better understand data and structure, etc.
