The Integrated B.Tech Food Technology-M.B.A program helps students save one year, as it is a 5-year program in which students get both B.Tech Food Technology Degree as well as MBA degree and it is as per UGC Norms. In this integrated program, the management of food processing, storage, transportation, distribution, marketing, sale, profit and loss calculations are imparted.

This specialization lays a solid foundation in all areas of food biotechnology and provides a comprehensive review of the biological and chemical concepts that are important in each discipline. Food Biotechnology is a branch of food science in which modern biotechnological techniques are applied. It covers topics ranging from molecular biology to industrial applications of food biotechnology for the improvement of food and food products. It prepares students for careers in the dynamic food sector as well as for research and development.

This integrated specialization further offers students a chance to choose between two MBA specializations:

Students interested in either producing or editing podcasts, learning storytelling for the audio medium or understanding post-production process for an audio product are fit for this course. The broad themes explored in this course include: Digital Audio Storyboarding, Sound Design & Mixing, Audio & Podcast Production, Post Production, Distribution & Monetisation.

This course explores in detail the types of rules, policies, and controls put in place to determine the behaviour of a corporation, and the intended outcome of those measures. Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering with Specialization In Process Design Engineering is an industry-oriented program training the students in chemical process development and designing. The students as part of the curriculum go for one year of Industrial project where they receive immense industrial experience. We also have a MoU with Grasim Industries - Aditya Birla Ltd., for the M. Tech Industrial project/ internship program.

The Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - in Product Design lays emphasis on a process-centric approach of participation and teamwork to shape the students’ education. The curriculum is designed in a way that gradually increases in complexity levels and covers broad areas that product designers will come across in their professional careers. Collaborative projects with industrial houses, social sector, government and multinational companies are a part of the education process.

Logistics sector needs professionals for managing demand, procurement, transportation, production, warehouse, retail, and distribution operations. Considering this rising requirement of the market, the program was launched in the year 2011. It intends to provide support to industry 4.0 with a balanced content on Procurement, Materials Management, Global Supply-Chain Management, Multi-Modal Transportation, Retail, Logistics Information System, and Spreadsheet Modelling.

Students in this specialisation learn the essential computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases and software engineering and design processes, but also concepts such as Big Data related concepts such as functional programming using python, distributed computing, data ingestion tools, NoSQL database, and other technologies to build big data pipeline.
