B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics is a three year Honors Program. The thrust of this Program is to impart extensive knowledge of Physics, both in theoretical and practical spheres. The Programme involves Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Optics, Heat & Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Atomic, Nuclear & Particle Physics and Lasers & Instrumentation and Electronics. Besides these, the students will also study the generic subjects like English, Mathematics and Computer Application.

DevOps removes latency over software development and links with cloud computing to ensure DevOps automation for centralized software testing and deployment. This helps in centralized automation, governance and control for processes. It lessens the need for resource leverage and developer friendly operations. B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology is a 3-year program with an enriched curriculum comprising of basic courses (cell biology, biochemistry, animal and plant physiology, developmental biology) and applied courses (plant and animal biotechnology, bioinformatics, bioprocess technology and others). Specific courses target skill development, employability and entrepreneurship potential of biotechnology.

M.Sc. Botany programme curriculum is balanced between classical concepts of Botany and recent technological advancements in field of plant science. Curriculum is enriched with courses having specific focus on enhancement of communication and presentation skills, development of scientific temperament and research aptitude. Industrial visit and training programme avail exposure to industrial working environment and the working porotocols.

B.Tech CSE with specialization in Cyber Security is a 4 years (or 8 semesters) specialised undergraduate program that focuses on comprehensive knowledge of cyber-crime, network security, cryptography, intrusion detection and prevention systems. To safeguard an IT infrastructure, the program provides essential information on how to analyse and resolve security risks in networks and computer systems. Secure software and hardware must be designed, developed, tested, and evaluated to create rules and procedures for managing security threats in any organisation. In view of this, program also offers in depth knowledge of data structures, algorithm design and analysis, security policies, security laws, firewalls, and computer forensics.

During the course of the program, student work on the latest tools in their laboratory sessions to acquire complete knowledge of the subjects. Institute encourage students to gain practical knowledge by various expert guest lectures on subjects, such as, ethical hacking, cyber laws, government policies on cyber-crime etc. Industrial visits are also organized for students to give them field exposure.

BA (Hons) Economics aims to develop the necessary skills to analyze economic phenomena. Students will develop the necessary skills to empirically validate economic theories. The significance of the Programme lies in the statistical methods in research which will develop research-based skills to construct and analyze qualitative and quantitative data. The Programme will enable the students to understand the economic issues at the local and global level and also to critically analyze government Policies and Programmes announced and implemented to resolve the issues.

M.Sc. Food Nutrition and Dietetics provides concepts related to human nutrition and dietetic practice. It develops advances skills to pursue research in the field of human nutrition and dietetics. The programme is suitable for those who have patience and genuine concern for fellow beings, planning & administrative skills, organizational ability and good communication skills. The aspirant should have an interest in food preparation and should be capable of creating awareness regarding health improvement, prevention of diseases and control of existing ailments.

B.Tech ECE with VLSI & Embedded system is a 4 year program offered at Uttaranchal University aims to provide the knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology and embedded system. The curriculum covers algorithms, System Architecture Verification Techniques, Component requirement for Hardware Model, substantial Designs, and Synthesis & Simulation for VLSI system. The programme also covers thrust areas like Real Time application of VLSI & Embedded Systems, Advanced Microcontrollers, Advanced Embedded System Design, and System on Chip.
