B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Technology with Research is a 4-year program will specifically focus on importing research skills and industrial exposure to students. Industrial exposure through industrial training/visit will provide an exposure to students to have hands-on exposure to industrial practices and protocols followed. Along with technical skills required to pursue career in widespread industrial. Students with simultaneously acquire research skills through experimental learning via designing and executing protocols, data analysis and interpretation, data presentation and scientific writing.

The program includes detailed study of subjects such as Advance Food Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Technology of Cereals, Principles of Food quality, Bakery Technology, Technology of Fruits, Vegetables and Plantation Crop, Technology of Milk and Milk Products, Technology of Food Preservation, Food Microbiology and Engineering etc.

B. Tech Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Cloud Manufacturing is a multi-disciplinary programme designed keeping in view industry 4.0 requirements. The smart and Cloud based manufacturing is the demand of the future. For these smart factories, to compete, engineers must be adept at managing complexity and shortening product cycle from concept to market. interconnected and intelligent manufacturing system which Students of this course will learn about the latest advances in AI & ML, IOT, Cloud Computing, big data, and controllers, and how they can be applied to the fields of Mechatronics, Robotics, 3D Printing, and Nanotechnology etc.

Word digital marketing broadly implies to marketing of products and services through electronic devices and digital media platform that includes mobile messages, online videos, marketing through search engine, social media adds. Digital marketing ensures costumer connections, easy personalization, improved conversion as well as achieving quantifiable results at a reasonable cost. With automation, made digital marketing more powerful and helps improving the efficiency and relevance. With advent of technology and easy access to smart phones and internet facilities, digital marketing is the most preferred way of reaching to customers than traditional marketing and it has a huge potential in terms of opportunities for placement. In view of that Uttaranchal University offers post graduate program in MBA with specialization in Digital Marketing to train students in the field of digital marketing.

M.Sc. Chemistry is a two years post graduate program. The masters program offers in depth knowledge of courses like, Analytical Chemistry, Environment and Green Chemistry, Photochemistry and Pericyclic reactions and Nanotechnology.  

The students are provided exposure to lab work and dissertations. They are also trained to write research articles in reputed journals. Thus the students become competent enough to do work in public and private sectors.

Under this programme, students are trained about the most modern methods used in fertilizers; plant biotechnology. The programme apart from training in scientific skills also trains in marketing skills of agriculture products. Under this study, the students are exposed to real life rural settings with the aim to develop a sense of awareness among the students so that they can understand the problems of farmers and rural people.

M. Pharm. is a two-year post-graduate Programme which has been designed to focus on the field of pharmaceutical science. Under this programme, the students get in-depth knowledge of the course like product planning and formulation designing of pharmaceuticals.

M.Pharm. Pharmaceutics deals with the manufacturing of medicine along with the processes and techniques involved. Detailed knowledge of various courses indulged in M.Pharm. equip the students with advanced techniques in manufacturing, packaging, as well as in the marketing domain.

With the expansion of chemical-related production because of industrialization, there has been an increase in need for a specialized study of industrial chemistry that prepares students with the skills to navigate the industry. The Faculty of Applied & Life Sciences provides a two-year Postgraduate degree programme in Industrial Chemistry, which prepares students to become critical human resources for the nation’s overall economic growth.

The programme follows a curriculum that is unique and is aligned with industry requirements, ensuring that students continue to get the greatest level of industrial relevance. The curriculum of forensic science is a blend of interdisciplinary fields including biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, entomology, anthropology, drug chemistry, ballistics. The curriculum is enriched to provide conceptual knowledge along with sound technical skills and laboratory expertise.
