B.Tech Civil Engineering is a 4 years (8 semesters) undergraduate program designed to create engineers who can work for the society for creating space to improve their living standard, create safe and secure environment from natural and manmade disasters. The teaching – learning pedagogy involves not only class room teaching but also experiential learning through practical in the lab, fields and interactions with experts, training in workshops, internships, live projects and field work. Students are taught variety of courses in the field of structural engineering, transportation engineering, water supply and waste water treatment, environment engineering, foundation engineering, surveying, estimation and costing etc. Apart from that students have exposure to software learning relevant to industry and it is ensured that students are industry ready after leaving the college life and easily adaptive to the new environment through skill development based courses.

Student will learn a variety of abilities to deal with circumstances that human resource workers face while structuring the organizational model. BBA- HRM curriculum includes management strategies in general as well as practical and proficient HRM Management training. The program mainly focuses on Business Management, Financial planning and policies, as well as understanding of fundamentals to Business.

Students enrolled for the program go through set of courses and training program so that they acquire skills and abilities for managing company and employees and become adaptive to corporate culture. Courses offered are in the field of economics, environment and legislation, information technology, marketing, human resource management, banking and finance, healthcare services, operations and productions and so on. Teaching – learning pedagogy involves not only class room teaching but also hands on experiential learning through lab sessions, field training, internships, workshops and seminars that are the regular feature and making student delta plus better that their peers.

Cloud Computing and DevOps are integrated for application development to make business unit faster, quick response to delivery and at lower cost, for deployment, testing, delivery and operations. DevOps removes latency over software development and links with cloud computing to ensure DevOps automation for centralized software testing and deployment. This helps in centralized automation, governance and control for processes. It lessens the need for resource leverage and developer friendly operations. Industries are looking for experts in the field of Cloud computing and DevOps who can ensure to bring products to market faster, make automation of the system with high security, reduce downtime and increase scalability.

The programme on M.Sc. Zoology beside providing conceptual and practical knowledge related to basic and applied field of zoology also aims to provide skills related to advanced analytical techniques utilized in zoological studies with an objective to impart research aptitude among students. The curriculum is enriched with seminar presentation, industrial visit and report writing enhance communication and presentation skills with dissertation being a compulsory part inculcates critical thinking ability to design and develop solutions to problems related to environment, health and society.

Cyber security is the practice of protecting computers, servers, electronic systems, networks, mobiles as well as data from malicious attacks. It involves protecting software, hardware, as well as user’s data. It also helps prevent cybercriminals from gaining access to various devices connected through networks. It also trains how to monitor systems and networks for intrusions. In view of that Uttaranchal University offers BCA – Cyber Security, a three-year undergraduate program designed to fulfil the requirements of the IT industries.

BCA- cyber security program focuses on providing relevant skills to establish sample collection techniques from different sources that help students to profile threat actors. The program includes courses like Fundamentals of Cyber Security, Risk Management, Law of Cyber Security, Security Professional Ethics, Principles of Information System Security, Paradigm of Ethical Hacking, Information System Security Planning and Audits, Python programming, etc

One year programme in Hotel Management provides a strong understanding of different functional and managerial aspects related to Hotel Management. The demand for hotel management professionals is expected to grow more with the increasing number of hotels being set up in India and all over the world.

Geographical Information System (GIS) is an inter-disciplinary field that builds expertise in the application of geospatial technologies to the most important real-world concerns in the areas of the environment, earth sciences, social sciences, and economics. The field focuses on translating geospatial data into useful end-user information by using acquisition, processing, characterisation, analysis, and modelling to better understand geographic patterns, processes, and interactions at all scales, from macro to global.

M. Pharm. is a two-year post-graduate Programme which has been designed to focus on the field of pharmaceutical science. Under this programme, the students get in-depth knowledge of the course like product planning and formulation designing of pharmaceuticals.

M.Pharm. Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an interdisciplinary programme that covers the synthesis, designing, development, and other significant factors of existing and novel drug molecules. Parallelly, it deals with pharmacodynamic as well as pharmacokinetics.

Aerospace is a branch of engineering that involves the science, design, and manufacturing of Aircrafts, Rockets and Spacecraft. The world of Aerospace engineering today is involved in the design of reusable spacecraft and rockets for space exploration, hypersonic transport aircraft for faster travel, drones of multidisciplinary applications including military applications, glide and cruise capable hypersonic missiles, stealthy reconnaissance and fighter aircrafts, and many more. The B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering program is meant to create industry-ready professionals by training students on varied technical fields of aerospace engineering involving design, analysis, maintenance, process engineering, and manufacturing of aircrafts, rockets, missiles, spacecraft, helicopters satellites and drones.
