M.Sc. in Plant Pathology trains the students in the identification of the symptoms of different plant diseases, disease management and treatment through chemicals.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an interdisciplinary field concerned with the design and synthesis of different types of drug from the biologically active molecules. The field of pharmaceutical chemistry is very dynamic and combines a broad range of scientific disciplines such as drug discovery development and also therapies.  It provides students with a thorough understanding of drug mechanism of action, structure activity relationship (SAR), acid base and physico- chemical properties and absorption, metabolism and toxicity profiles.

M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a 2 year, post-graduate degree program involve aspects related to the general chemistry, organic chemistry, synthesis and analysis with different analytical techniques for their characterizations as well as their utilization.

The main objective is to develop skilled pharmaceutical chemists, with a thorough understanding and knowledge of drug and their action and utilize their potential to work efficiently and effectively in an interdisciplinary atmosphere.

The programme is a combination of modern and ancient English literature, consisting of three main areas of focus, i.e. Prose, Poetry, and Drama. The programme includes literature by not just England writers, but from all over the world. Cultural, political and historical contexts of English and linguistics are explored on an advanced level.

It prepares students for teaching and Creative English Writing. After Post-Graduate degree, a candidate can pursue Doctoral Degree or can appear in competitive examination for jobs in various government departments. MA English students also have scope to build their career in the field of journalism, Education, BPOs and KPOs, Publishing, Theatre, Media & Entertainment, Corporate, Writing, Advertising and Public Relations. Post Graduates can aspire for the job profile of Editor or Assistant Editor, Web Content Writer, Academic Writer, Teacher, Translator, Public Servant, Quality Control Executive, Theater Actor, to name a few.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry with Research is a 4 year program being offered in Chemistry discipline. It is dedicated for applied research in the field of Chemical Sciences and further helps in enhancing research acumen of the scholar along with exposure to internship in related fields.

BCA is a 3 years undergraduate program that includes courses like Computer Network, Cloud Computing, Web Technologies, Computer Based Optimization Techniques, Theory of Computation, Enterprise Resource Planning, Digital Image Processing, and Programming using Python etc. The curriculum has established the concept of project development in each language/technology learned during the semester in order to improve the programming skills. This ensures experiential learning through practical exposure.

The B.Sc (Agri.) programme is an undergraduate programme related to the field of agriculture. The focus of this study is on agriculture. Under this programme, students are trained about the most modern methods used in fertilizers; plant biotechnology. The programme apart from training in scientific skills also trains in marketing skills of agriculture products. Under this study, the students are exposed to real life rural settings with the aim to develop a sense of awareness among the students so that they can understand the problems of farmers and rural people.

M.Sc. Biotechnology is a two year program spread into four semesters. The curriculum comprises of comprise core courses, open elective and discipline specific electives. Core courses provide conceptual knowledge and experimental learning pertaining to basic and applied field of biotechnology through different teaching learning methods. Open electives target skill enhancement and discipline elective courses are specifically designed to provide skills pertaining to application of biotechnological tools and techniques in various fields including industry, agriculture, environment, health and others. Industrial visits, participation in seminar/conference, training programs impart additional technical skills. A crucial component of fourth semester is dissertation; each student is allotted a supervisor to conduct research in the field of interest of the student. The objective of dissertation is to impart skill to design and develop protocols, conduct experiment, interpret data and comprehend scientific writing skills.
