The field focuses on translating geospatial data into useful end-user information by using acquisition, processing, characterisation, analysis, and modelling to better understand geographic patterns, processes, and interactions at all scales, from macro to global.

The aim of the M Tech in Energy Management & Sustainability is to train students to fill the gap between the growing renewable and sustainable industry demand for specialized manpower. The training acquired during the course will prepare them for professional life in Renewable Energy, Energy Management , Energy Auditing, Energy planning and Environmental Impacts of Energy Usage. Integrating industrial support, guidance and participation during the academic process creates a rich value in the course.
