The program has been designed to give you as much “hands-on” experience with professional camera, sound and editing equipment as practical. The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) supports individuals to become competent social work practitioners within their communities. It enables students to apply for professional registration to be a social worker practitioner in Aotearoa/New Zealand. 

Students will develop the understanding, personal attributes, knowledge and skills needed to be competent social workers in a range of fields, some of which include, family work, health and education, child protection, drug and alcohol, family violence, working with probation and youth services.
