The Postgraduate Diploma in Wine Business and Innovation (PGDipWBI) is a Level 8 program of 120 credits which enables those who have completed a bachelor’s degree to achieve a postgraduate level qualification in the wine business and innovation area. It can act as an entry point into the master’s degree for those who don’t initially meet the entry requirements, and need to demonstrate their ability to study at postgraduate level. The program has been designed to give you as much “hands-on” experience with professional camera, sound and editing equipment as practical. We primarily use state-of-the-art digital cameras for recording images then edit those images on non-linear digital editing systems, as used in the professional industry.

The PGDipIT is a one year Level 8 full-time programme with a minimum of 120 credits. It enables those who have completed a computing degree to achieve a postgraduate level qualification in information technology.

Those who wish to progress from the PGDipIT to the MIT will need to complete eight courses (120 credits) at Level 8.

The programme can be completed in one year full-time or up to four years part-time, depending on your previous study and experience and specific course preferences. It can act as an entry point into the masters degree if you do not initially meet the entry requirement and need to demonstrate your ability to study at a postgraduate level. Alternatively, if you initially enrolled in the masters degree and are not in a position to complete it, you can transfer any applicable courses to the postgraduate diploma for the purposes of qualification completion.

The NZ Diploma in Sport, Recreation and Exercise is a one year full-time, or equivalent part-time, program which offers you stimulating studies and provides a pathway to a career in the wide field of recreation, sport and health. This program has close links with the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science.

In particular, the program is designed to enable you to:

• Understand human body structure and function with emphasis on the musculo-skeletal system
• Develop knowledge and skills related to professional practice in the recreation and sport industry
• Understand the relationship between nutrition, physical activity and other personal health behaviours and health
