Molecular cell biology encompasses a hugely important area of study for the 21st century. It unifies many disciplines, ranging from cell biology, physiology and chemistry to computer science, and from patent law and medicine, to bioprotection and food production. With a Massey Diploma in Arts, you can study what you enjoy and explore subject areas that spark your interest.

You can complete the Diploma in Arts with or without an endorsement in a subject area. Completing the diploma without endorsement lets you sample different subjects and build a qualification that reflects your own particular interests.

If you want to take an endorsement, you can choose from 25 subjects from the Bachelor of Arts degree and specialise in the one that sparks your passion.

Massey’s Diploma in Arts is extremely flexible and you can include courses from many disciplines, including some from outside the humanities and social sciences.

The Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) is an accountancy degree with an integrated business perspective, giving you the skills and confidence to measure the big decisions affecting modern organisations and societies.You will gain many skills useful in different types of businesses, both in New Zealand and internationally, with a sound base in the business fundamentals of accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, law and communication.

The Bachelor of Business (Organisational Technology Management) will make you a sought-after technology and data management expert. Our programme brings together human and organisational aspects of computer-based information systems. This is in contrast to computer science and information technology that stress the underlying technologies. If you enjoy working with people and would like to understand more about the business world, the BBus (OTM) is for you.

Our lecturers are actively researching both nationally and internationally, bringing the most relevant developments in business theory and practice to the classroom. They also have real-world experience in the business world, with in-depth knowledge of big data and how technology is trending into the future. The Bachelor of Business will give you the leadership, communication and critical thinking skills that will make you a sought-after employee.

The Graduate Diploma in Business Studies endorsed in Personal Financial Planning provides university-level education in financial planning. This qualification satisfies the education requirements for becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER CM Professional with the professional body Financial Advice New Zealand (other non-educational requirements are required). The Graduate Diploma in Business Studies is useful if you wish to keep up with professional developments in your field. Or you may have found yourself working in a different field of business to that in which you hold a qualification.

Massey’s Graduate Diploma in Information Sciences will give you the software design and development skills needed to make you a sought-after employee, both in New Zealand, and internationally.

Massey is one of the few universities in New Zealand where your information sciences qualification covers all five disciplines of computer science, data science, information technology, information systems and software engineering.  Many graduates have found it really useful to complete the Graduate Diploma “with no endorsement”.  This means that you can select the courses you are most interested in from across the range of subjects.  You are strongly encouraged to select “no endorsement”.
