This degree is designed for those with a drive to succeed in business, with a practical focus, and a flexible structure. Environmental Technology
Environmental technology is about the science of conservation, biosecurity and environmental management. People who choose this pathway can work in positions as biosecurity officers who help manage pest animal and plant control, and help conserve local environments.

Students in this program will advance their ability to innovate in the workplace allowing them to immerse themselves into the enterprise environment and gain a postgraduate qualification whilst in employment. Agritechnology
Agritechnology is about the science of agriculture, including soil and plant analysis, and plant and animal production. People who choose this pathway can work in positions as researchers or laboratory technicians with a focus on agriculture.

Students in this program will learn theoretical and technical knowledge in a specialised field of science such as:

Food technology is about the science of food. People who choose this pathway can work in entry level positions as food technologists who develop new food products, analyse the components of food, or; food safety officers who audit the food manufacturing industry.

Biotechnology is about the 'doing' of science, this includes quality assurance of laboratory practices, the analysis of samples and reporting on sample results. People who choose this pathway can work in entry level positions as researchers or laboratory technicians.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Information Technology enables students to undertake an advanced program of study, covering a wide range of areas to further their academic subject area knowledge of information technology and research skills to obtain employment or advance their careers.

This program is for those who want to work in clinical settings as an enrolled nurse and a valued member of the health team.

Students will gain knowledge in nursing, social science, and the structure and function of the human body. They will learn skills in simulated learning environments which can then be applied on placements in clinical practice. A range of clinical courses in different health care settings will prepare students to practice in areas including rehabilitation, acute care and mental health.

After completing this program students will be able to apply to the Nursing Council of New Zealand to sit an exam to be registered as an Enrolled Nurse; this means they will be able to practise under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
