Chemical analysis plays a role in virtually all aspects of everyday life throughout the world. This industrially relevant course will provide you with a strong background in the theory of analytical techniques and give you the ability to apply these techniques to complex analytical problems.

Criminology is the study of crime, its control and its consequences. It combines the study of politics, law, psychology, society and culture to understand processes of criminalisation, practices of crime control and prevention.

A project/dissertation will enable you to study an area of interest in depth. It can be an excellent selling point.

This course is concerned with understanding the Earth's environments and the global concerns of humanity. It offers a perfect balance of skills learning and practical fieldwork.

Fieldwork takes place in the UK and Europe*. Subjects include data collection, project management, social policy analysis, urban planning and design, environmental monitoring and management.

This Criminology with Forensic Psychology MA programme enables you to combine two complementary subject areas.

The criminology elements will introduce you to the complex nature of crime, harm and victimisation, together with an appreciation of the role of criminal justice systems in relation to crime control, protection and the delivery of justice.

In the forensic psychology component of the programme you will study a range of investigative and legal processes, policing and geographical profiling. You will engage critically with offender profiling and explore the practice of Behavioural Investigative Advice (BIA) in the UK.

You'll research, design and produce a range of media products, developing skills in project management and team-working. Live projects include creating and producing the campus newspaper and news website, The River.

Through practical modules, you'll develop your writing, editing and production skills. You'll also acquire an understanding of the legal and ethical implications that may apply to your work.

On this practical course, you'll develop practical coaching skills as well as studying the science behind effective coaching, performance, leadership and sports analysis. You'll have access to sophisticated equipment to measure the physiological responses to exercise and analyse sports movements and skills.

Modules cover psychology, motivation, human physiology, anatomy, biomechanics and notational analysis. A project or dissertation on a selected topic will develop your independent learning skills.

This course, one of a suite of digital media courses, enables you to study professional digital media practice in a microstudio environment with a focus on the programming skills necessary for the field of games development. Through a student-centred project-based curriculum, you will work as a games programmer to develop your specialist skills while working as part of an interdisciplinary team with students from across the full programme.
