As climate change and a range of ethical considerations forces us to address the true cost of new buildings, you'll practise sustainable interior design through creative re-use of existing structures.

As part of your course, you’ll:

• Study in a well-equipped studio environment and award-winning building in the vibrant city of Leeds
• Use traditional art and design inspiration and processes, along with digital media, to sculpt, draw and model innovative interior architecture
• Develop your place-making talents to shape sensory, emotive and tactile contemporary interior landscapes
• Complete design projects in response to human issues, live briefs and external clients

You’ll be taught by experienced practitioners whose backgrounds are in top architecture and design industry consultancies and practices. Live projects will give you the opportunity to engage with real clients, user groups, experts, practising designers and architects.

Build on your existing knowledge of finance and economics with a thorough examination of international banking and investment. You will learn about banking regulations across the globe and how economic factors can affect investment growth and financial stability. You will explore theories relevant to understanding current industry practices in the UK and further afield.

You will be taught by a team of supportive tutors, and you will be able to draw on their considerable industry experience in economics and finance, which includes consultancy work with the International Monetary Fund.

• Gain the skills to become a professional occupational therapist, able to deliver and evaluate occupational therapy in a range of settings
• Understand the relationship between occupation and health, models of occupation, occupational science and occupational justice
• Learn how to carry out occupational therapy assessments and interventions
• Work with people from across the lifespan and with a range of physical, mental and social difficulties such as dementia, stroke, homelessness or unemployment

Become an effective communications practitioner with the expertise and confidence to work in an international setting. You will learn how to work with clients to produce practical communications solutions in the private, public and voluntary sectors all over the world.

The course is delivered by four European universities: Leeds Beckett University, Hanze University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, IULM in Italy and Vilnius University in Lithuania, which all specialise in professional communications and public relations.

You will choose whether to study your first or second semester at Leeds Beckett University, where you will benefit from being taught at one of the most established centres for education and research in the field of public relations in Europe. You will spend your remaining semesters at a partner university, specialising in areas of expertise specific to that university. You could also take an optional industry placement in your final semester.

Acquire the knowledge and skills needed for a career as an environmental health practitioner by analysing the five main intervention areas: housing, food safety, occupational health and safety, environmental protection and public health. You will develop your understanding of environmental stress factors and their effect on human health and safety, together with the legal and technical frameworks for controlling these risks.

The opportunity to interact with students from other vocational courses will broaden your perspective of environmental health issues, and you will have access to our state-of-the-art acoustics laboratory and our dedicated food inspection facilities to put your expertise into practice. You will also have the chance to engage in simulated sessions, including mock kitchen inspections and staged courtroom trials to see how the law operates in environmental health cases. These scenarios could help you work towards professional registration as an environmental health practitioner.
