At the end of Year 2 you can take a year-long placement option before returning to complete your degree. In your final year, you will advance your skills and knowledge in business management and can also choose to study a business start-up, managing business projects, or a research project.

Cellular pathology is the study of structural and functional changes in cells, tissues and organs that underlie disease. It is a dynamic, fast-evolving specialism which saves many lives by providing rational clinical care and therapy in the fight against many serious diseases, particularly cancer.

This course has a strong practical element, with an emphasis on developing the skills needed in a laboratory and gaining hands-on experience of diagnostic techniques. You will be able to study and learn within the University's specialist laboratories which include a modern, well-equipped cell culture facility and fully-equipped proteomics facilities. You'll also learn to use cutting-edge techniques and equipment for cellular and molecular analysis, such as MALDI-TOF mass spectrometers and flow cytometers, DNA sequencing, real-time PCR, electrophoresis and HPLC.

You will learn the principles of the English legal system, and gain reflection through social, political, economic, ethical and historical perspectives. Build your hands-on experience while developing your legal skills

• After you have completed your year one modules, you will have the option to transfer to year two of the LLB, which, on completion will lead to the academic and vocational training required to become a fully qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales.

Roles typically include preparing statistical reports, preparing specific videos i.e. set pieces, coding matches via performance analysis software, identifying differences between teams/players via statistical analysis etc. This master’s course prepares students to work as a performance analyst by giving you the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to fulfil those roles.
