The Radiologic Sciences Programs are administered by the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. The program is designed to produce Radiologic Science professionals who are clinically competent, advanced level radiologic sciences practitioners. The program is a "1 plus 1" model, meaning all students begin their sophomore year in radiography, then choose one of six "tracks" for their senior year.

Radiation Therapy
Provides students with the skills necessary to operate therapeutic radiation oncology systems and thus become a professional, entry level radiation therapist.

The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre is a 120-credit hour degree program designed to provide students with professional-caliber training within the framework of a liberal arts education with specific coursework in acting, directing, design, literature and history.

We want our students to be lifelong learners who are prepared to enter a complex, ever-changing global society. Our world-class faculty provides students with a foundation in the sciences, math, communications, writing, the humanities and more.

Emphases in Design Technology

The Design & Technology emphasis includes elective courses in costume, lighting, scenic and sound design, as well as courses in drawing, stage management, makeup and costume construction.

Marketing is the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion, and distribution of ideas, goods, and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives. All types of organizations perform marketing activities to facilitate exchanges. Businesses, as well as nonbusiness organizations such as universities, charitable organizations, community theatres and hospitals, perform marketing activities. The major in marketing provides education and training for those interested in planning and implementing successful marketing strategies. The student with energy, ability, and the competitive urge will discover that this major will open many opportunities to serve the public as well as receive material reward.

Mammography / Breast Sonography
Provides students with the skills necessary to operate specialized mammography and sonography equipment, as well as assist in invasive procedures, such as biopsies.

The courses in chemistry and physics are designed to prepare individuals for a variety of post baccalaureate options. The Bachelor of Science degree is for individuals who are seeking employment as chemical or physical professionals, or who wish to continue studies toward a Masters or Ph.D.

Students who are looking to pursue a further degree in law, medicine, dentistry, or pharmaceuticals will find either the B.S. degrees in chemistry as an option for entry into the appropriate post-baccalaureate program.

The Arkansas State University MBA Program is a professional degree program designed to prepare students of all educational and professional backgrounds for management positions in all types of organizations. As such, the program stresses the development of analytical, problem-solving and decision making competencies for the dynamic, complex global organizational and social environments.

International Business - Concentration
The MBA with Concentration in IB program is designed to allow graduate business students the ability to select in-depth coverage of the core components of today's IB ?eld while furthering their business administration academic career. Students will complete the 27 hours within the MBA core and 9 additional hours of graduate level IB coursework.

The program offers classroom instruction on concepts and theory, integrated with intensive laboratory experience focusing on techniques and communication skills required for professional biotechnologists. It is an interdisciplinary program composed consists of 36 academic credits, including two intensive laboratory methods courses and a directed professional internship.

The internships consist of a minimum of 300 laboratory hours in an industry or government laboratory research agency  and focus on intensive training. Students are required to compose a PowerPoint presentation and a professional portfolio illustrating accomplishments achieved during their internship experiences.

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management Systems degree prepares graduates to understand the engineering relationships between the management tasks of planning, organization, leadership, control, and the human element in production, research, and service organizations; to understand and deal with the stochastic nature of management systems. The program also prepares graduates to integrate management systems into a series of different technological environments.
