The BS in Applied Physics allows students to combine the BS in Physics with a concentration in biochemistry, computer science, or engineering. The curriculum includes electives in humanities and social science to give the student a general background to supplement training as a specialist.

The BACHELOR of SCIENCE in COMPUTER ENGINEERING program is concerned with the design of hardware and software for computing devices and systems. Hofstra University's Department of Finance offers a Master of Science (MS) in Finance. The MS Finance program provides a strong conceptual understanding of finance and develops students' analytical abilities. Candidates come with interests in such areas as corporate finance, investments, international finance, and financial institutions. Television Production and Studies

The BA in Television Production and Studies focuses on the creative side of the television industry, from scriptwriting and editing to directing and producing. Choose from courses in television aesthetics and criticism, shows and showrunners, sitcom production, sports reporting and production, digital editing, lighting, and single- and multi-camera production.

The BFA in Dance Performance is for students who want to immerse themselves in a more intensive program, leading to careers in performance and choreography. The focus is on developing technical proficiency in traditional and contemporary styles of dance. An audition is required for admission, as well as a personal interview with dance faculty.

The Bachelor of Arts is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of biology and a strong liberal arts foundation. It is ideal for students planning to pursue graduate studies in another area, such as business, K-12 education, engineering or law.

Students may major in biology or urban ecology, and specializations are available in pre-health, cell/molecular biology, as well as marine and freshwater biology, ecology, secondary education and conservation biology, among others.
