If you have a strong drive and entrepreneurial spirit, set your aspirations on the highly lauded, one-year New Venture Development Program.  Students wishing to add a second major to another course of study at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management have the option of applying to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship. The New Venture Development Program at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship offers selected students a one-year immersion curriculum during their senior year. In collaboration with their peers and with entrepreneurs serving as mentors, students build a new venture from the ground up and hone their entrepreneurial and business leadership skill set in the process. Ranked in the nation's top 10 programs, the B.S.B.A. in Entrepreneurship is highly selective, and accepted students graduate with a competitive edge.

The conservatory-style program for the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Production with a Professional Actors Training Program emphasis prepares students to embark on a career as a working actor. Small class sizes allow faculty to focus individualized attention on students, encouraging collaboration and experimentation. Classes include eight semesters of Stanislavsky-based acting training; four semesters of voice and movement; stage combat classes; audition technique courses; screen acting classes; and professional development and business acumen that culminate in a showcase for leading industry professionals in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and major regional markets.

If you are intrigued by various fields of engineering and see yourself in a business leadership role, an engineering management major will set you up for success. Students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management glean knowledge from a range of disciplines and position themselves to become industry and entrepreneurial leaders. Engineering management majors learn to recognize the need for improved manufacturing processes and understand customer demand for new products and technologies. They craft a skillset steeped in the business management side of engineering while also focusing on one of the University of Arizona's specific engineering majors. Undergraduates gain real-world experience through design, entrepreneurship and internships programs, and club activities. Students seeking their Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a Hispanic Literature emphasis will take language courses in both Spanish and Portuguese while studying Hispanic literature. Outside of the classroom, students hone their Spanish language conversation skills in Spanish Club or their Portuguese-speaking skills in Bate Papo. Various study abroad programs through the University of Arizona provide Spanish majors the opportunity for additional language and cultural immersion, adding to their undergraduate experience.

Pick a course of study that hones your practice while helping to unlock the door to professional work as a performer, educator or composer. The Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Harp emphasis invites students to study with peers from across the globe. At the Fred Fox School of Music, students enjoy close interaction with the esteemed faculty, all of whom are artists in their own right and who've performed at the world's greatest concert halls and received numerous accolades as musicians. Students can audition for the Harp Studio, which offers weekly private lessons, a studio class, the study of harp pedagogy, orchestral coaching, mock auditions and master classes with guest artists. Students can take advantage of opportunities to arrange, compose, record and tour with HarpFusion. Upon graduation, students are equipped for roles as performing artists, teachers, administrators and music scholars.

Food systems is the study of the food supply chain, which includes production, processing, distribution, and consumption as well as waste. Drivers of the food system include culture, economics, policy, and marketing, and the collective impact on outcomes including human and environmental health, food insecurity, and community food security. The Nutrition and Food Systems degree is an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the complexities of the food system from production to consumption and impact on human health, as well as challenges faced by the food system to develop sustainable solutions for producing, processing, delivering, and consuming safe, culturally desirable, nutritious, and economically and environmentally sustainable food. The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is committed to training emerging leaders who will address grand challenges facing humanity, including management and preservation of precious and finite natural resources, and finding solutions to feed over 9 billion people by 2050.

• Apply scientific evidence, best practices, and professional judgment when evaluating food- and nutrition-related problems
• Identify alterations in nutrition metabolism and its implications on health and disease
• Utilize food science and culinary principles in food preparation to recognize how knowledge of food can influence nutritional status.
• Explore the relationship between drivers of the food system and the food supply chain as they affect food consumption, food waste, the environment and human health.

Establish the foundation you need to conduct psychological research and move on to advanced studies. Psychological science is the study of the mind and brain and how these influence human actions with an emphasis on psychological research. Coursework includes the study of development, learning, personality, memory, perception, consciousness, sexuality, love, spirituality and more. Undergraduates learn fundamental principles and concepts of psychology and crucial problem-solving skills relevant to research. Students must first complete 18 units of foundational psychology coursework within the Pre-Psychological Science requirements. They then advance from the pre-major to the full major to complete an additional 27 units of coursework and psychological research with faculty. The B.S. degree prepares undergraduates for a Ph.D. in Psychology and other advanced studies and careers that require a robust understanding of science and research methods.
