The Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with an Animal Industry emphasis takes an interdisciplinary approach to educating students on how business and animal science pair in industries such as dairy production, food safety, research, marketing and more. Coursework includes business law and accounting and marketing principles, as well as science-based classes such as microbiology and physiology. The Animal Industry emphasis enables students to tailor the degree to their interests by allowing them five major elective courses in the following areas: Animal and Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Natural Resources, Agricultural & Resource Economics, and Molecular and Cellular Biology. The Italian Studies emphasis is perfect for students whose interest in Italian culture is wide ranging from art and film to history and politics. Students take courses in the Italian language, cinema, literature and culture from a world-renowned faculty, plus students are encouraged to enhance classroom work with a study abroad opportunity in Orvieto, Italy. Students earning the Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering collaborate with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and several College of Engineering degree programs. They study ways to sustainably feed an ever-growing world population, harness and preserve natural resources, and overcome environmental challenges. Students are immersed in design throughout their undergraduate experience. The future depends on biosystems engineers working in fields such as agriculture, water conservation and renewable energy.

Students in the Aerospace Engineering Bachelor of Science program learn to design and maintain spacecraft, commercial aircraft, fighter jets, missiles, rockets and satellites. They graduate with working knowledge of aerodynamics, control system design, gas dynamics, solid and fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
