The Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Harp emphasis invites students to study with peers from across the globe. At the Fred Fox School of Music, students enjoy close interaction with the esteemed faculty, all of whom are artists in their own right and who've performed at the world's greatest concert halls and received numerous accolades as musicians. Students can audition for the Harp Studio, which offers weekly private lessons, a studio class, the study of harp pedagogy, orchestral coaching, mock auditions and master classes with guest artists. Students can take advantage of opportunities to arrange, compose, record and tour with HarpFusion. Upon graduation, students are equipped for roles as performing artists, teachers, administrators and music scholars.

Political science is the study of government, public policy and the political behavior of individuals and groups. When students embark on a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in Ideas and Methods, they focus on theoretical questions that lead to real-world change. Students explore the processes, principles and structures of government and political institutions in the U.S. and in countries around the globe. Coursework covers international relations, political theory, foreign affairs, methodology and institutions, and includes hands-on internship opportunities at nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Join the new green economy with an in-depth look at sustainable land development and real estate finance. Teaching students how to conceptualize and manage sustainable and responsible real estate development is a critical objective of the Sustainable Real Estate Development Emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments program. Coursework focuses on sustainable practices, urban design, real estate finance, site development and construction. Students learn practical business skills such as accounting, marketing and economics. The faculty are leaders in the real estate development field and their interdisciplinary approach to this program features collaborative learning environments that build skills in innovative thought, creativity, problem-solving and teamwork.

Are you a tuba fanatic? This Performance major helps you elevate your talent as you build a solid foundation in music education. Students wishing to earn their Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Tuba emphasis at the University of Arizona have the benefit of studying in the nationally lauded Fred Fox School of Music. Students audition for placement in a large conducted ensemble to fulfill credit requirements. The school boasts the Tuba-Euphonium Studio, featuring a variety of ensemble options and performance opportunities. Performance majors take 89 units of music courses, studying a mix of music literature, music history, pedagogy, orchestration, conducting, brass techniques and materials, and more. Graduates go on to fulfill teaching, performing and conducting roles nationally and abroad.

The Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with an Animal Industry emphasis takes an interdisciplinary approach to educating students on how business and animal science pair in industries such as dairy production, food safety, research, marketing and more. The Animal Industry emphasis enables students to tailor the degree to their interests by allowing them five major elective courses in the following areas: Animal and Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Natural Resources, Agricultural & Resource Economics, and Molecular and Cellular Biology.
