The Rowan University Mechanical Engineering (ME) Program offers an innovative and student-centered program, incorporating leading-edge educational methods that blend theory with engineering practice. Rowan University integrates the study of dance within a liberal arts curriculum that prepares students for lifelong learning. Housed within the Department of Theatre and Dance, a multidisciplinary program committed to experimentation and collaboration, the BA in Dance creates informed artists whose technical training in movement and performance is coupled with intellectual engagement.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geology are physical science majors composed of foundation courses in science and mathematics; core courses in geology; and upper-level geoscience electives. The BA programs are designed to prepare students to enter the geoscience workforce in consulting firms or government agencies; pursue professional studies; or undertake advanced graduate studies in geoscience disciplines. Students who pursue a BA in Geology have greater flexibility to take electives in environmental science, geography, social sciences, and other disciplines.

The Master of Science in Bioinformatics (M.S.) prepares our graduates with the skills to immediately contribute in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and biomedical fields. Bioinformatics is a multidisciplinary field of study that focuses on the use of computational information tools in the investigation and analysis of biological, biomedical, and biochemical systems. The industry uses information generated in the lab or clinic for future applications, research, and development.

Our program provides hands-on experience, giving you the opportunity to work on novel research. This includes advanced training in theory and laboratory settings, which allows you to diversify into other biomedical research fields. This program includes the following three focus areas: Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, and Computer Science.

American Studies challenges students to investigate the diversity of ideas and circumstances that create American society, culture and history as they develop their critical writing, reading and communication skills.
