A  full range of theatre and dance production opportunities complements coursework and allows students to develop performance and production skills by creating live theatre.  All students may participate in the department's annual faculty-directed mainstage and/or student productions. These projects provide students with practical experience as performers, directors, designers and technicians, and enhances skills learned in the classroom.

Concentration in Design Technical

Our Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences prepares you for a career in the highly interdisciplinary field of pharmaceutical sciences. The field of pharmaceutical science involves the integration of concepts from organic chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, and molecular biology for the design, and synthesis of drugs as well as for understanding the mechanism of drug action. As a practitioner in this field, you may work on the discovery and development of novel drugs, creating efficient use of existing drugs, and lowering the cost of therapy employing less expensive protocols for manufacturing drugs.

Explore business performance through four types of analytics: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive and learn how to effectively improve business performance through this analysis. Data collection techniques have exploded. Learn how to take this data and transform it into actionable insights and successful and innovative business strategies. Business analytics skills are in demand internationally across all industries. Long term career goals might include positions such as data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, big data engineer, or data analytics consultant.

The Bachelor of Science degree is designed for students interested in scientific careers or pursuing graduate studies. Field experiences are an essential element of our curriculum, beginning in the first year.

The strength of the Accounting Degree Requirements is in the emphasis on practical and theoretical content to help students prepare for ethical participation in various accounting careers, including careers in professional accounting and financial management. The Accounting Program at Rowan University's Rohrer College of Business has been ranked the #3 accounting program in the state of New Jersey by the Accounting Degree Review. The program prepares students for a diversified range of career opportunities and, meets the requirements to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination, as well as the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Examination and the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Examination.

Rowan's Physics major balances general physics courses that develop analytical skills needed for any career direction with more advanced courses in highly technical areas. The department also offers coursework in astronomy and astrophysics. Personal attention is a hallmark of the program: enrollment in laboratory-based physics classes is limited to 24 students per section, and all lectures and labs are taught by faculty, not teaching assistants. In our junior-level Research Methods courses, students will have access to state-of-the-art equipment as they plan and execute a project under the direction of our research faculty.
