Our M.A. in Higher Education Administrative track is designed to serve professionals without any experience in higher education administration, but who aspire to careers in that field; as well as those who are already practicing administrators in a college or university who wish to upgrade their skills.

Graduates of our Administrative track often pursue higher education careers in student affairs, including residential life, admissions, academic advising, student activity programming, and service-learning/volunteerism.

As a bioinformatician, you might study human diseases, find new, more powerful drugs, or unlock the secret biology of an organism. A few lines of programming code puts genomes at your fingertips.

The RTF Department offers students courses in radio, television and film production, as well as courses in the history, business, and aesthetics of the media. Students can select one of two tracks within the program: The Traditional Production Emphasis, which is based in the department's, state-of-the-art digital production facilities, and a new Critical Studies Track. This track prepares the student for media studies in graduate school and/or careers in education and literary criticism. Students who complete both of these programs posses a broad-based liberal arts background and a strong preparation for either the media production industry or advanced media studies.

The Bachelor of Arts in Leadership & Social Innovation prepares students to work in existing and emerging industries in start-ups, foundations, not-for-profits, grass-roots organizations, and community organizations as well as in established markets such as business, government, and policy organizations.  Students will be prepared to understand leadership and organizations, diversity, the design and evaluation of organizational initiatives, and grant acquisition and management.  Students will also acquire the skills to lead within organizations, to work with diverse groups, to plan and evaluate organizational initiatives and to find, evaluate, secure and manage grants.

The field of geography is one of the most exciting and dynamic disciplines at Rowan University. Far more than memorizing capital cities and place names on a map, geography is an engaging field that has a wide diversity of specializations that provide outstanding preparation for high-demand and rewarding careers in environmental management, spatial analysis and sustainability. The common themes that unite all geographers are the scientific exploration of the earth and spatial analysis. One branch of geography focuses on people (human geography) and the other branch focuses on the environment (physical geography). There are multiple sub-disciplines within the field that cover everything from geology and climatology to demography and planning.

Our Master of Music provides intensive experiences in performance, conducting, or composition, as well as courses geared to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the literature of your area of concentration - and a greater understanding of music in general. Our program is tailored for aspiring musicians who wish to make a career as a performer, conductor, or composer.

Molecular and Cellular Biology focuses on the study of the processes that govern living organisms. Comprehensive curricula cover theory and laboratory methods, allowing students to carry out and understand molecular and biomedical research. The program provides students a solid foundation in the life sciences preparing them for careers in the highly competitive health professions programs such as medical school, dental school, and pharmacy school, nursing, biotechnology and pharmacuetical industry positions.
