Thinking about medical school or other health professions? Our biomedical sciences major is for you!

This versatile program will fully prepare you for any health-related field. Focused on health sciences, it still leaves ample room for developing other interests that enhance your application to professional schools.

If you want to be a health care professional, you may also wish to consider biology, biochemistry, chemistry, neuroscience and psychology as they are great points of entry to a career in health care. Many academic majors will prepare you for admission to professional schools if you also complete the required pre-requisite courses.

Advertising and public relations are vital functions in dynamic companies. Different than marketers, advertising and public relations professionals take a creative look at strategic communications, blending research and art to craft all messages for a company.

You will learn to take your natural creativity and analytical thinking and combine them to create comprehensive and connected brands and communications strategies. Plus, you can choose a minor, like international studies or leadership, to give you a broad perspective of what it takes to be a creative leader.

The graphic design program at Susquehanna is focused, close-knit, challenging, intense and ultimately very rewarding. In our program, you’ll study politics, government and public policy in the U.S. and abroad and why nations do — or do not — get along.

You’ll acquire the tools to question, analyze systems and institutions, and develop your own views about the best policies, programs and organizational rules for the world you envision.

Debates, simulations, trips to important political sites and engaged classroom conversation will encourage you to think more deeply about political issues of the day.

A political science degree gives you skills to follow many paths.

Some of our majors continue their political interests through public service. Recent graduates work for the New York City Office of Management and Budget, Maine House of Representatives, Boston City Council campaign, PA House of Representatives, PA Senate, PA Governor’s Office, New Jersey Assembly and the Snyder County PA Commissioner.

Others work for non-profit corporations in education, human services and health care as lobbyists, data analysts, professors, grant writers and more. Graduates also pursue jobs in insurance, finance, publishing and human resources.

Our students are also ready to attend law school or pursue graduate degrees in public policy, public administration or doctorates in political science.
