What you'll learn
During this degree you will study courses that teach you the fundamental legal principles and concepts that underpin the Australian legal system.

Courses such as torts, contracts, criminal law and constitutional law will give you a good understanding of the basic legal principles.

Through your choice of electives you can expand your knowledge in an area of professional interest such as health law, sports law, family law and human rights law.

Through practical learning experiences including mooting, negotiation, witness examination and the opportunity to undertake placement in a professional setting, you will be prepared for legal practice upon graduation.

This degree provides a balance of courses in psychology theory, counselling, workplace culture, and staff health and wellbeing. You will graduate with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively support and counsel staff and build staff recruitment, retention, and training and development strategies.

What you'll learn

This specialised double degree will provide you with a solid understanding of the theory associated with psychology and counselling, as well as the skills needed to effectively manage people. Core courses in business theory will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals such as economics, accounting, business law and employment relations.

The psychology component of your studies will cover areas such as developmental psychology; cognitive psychology; psychological assessment and research; counselling skills; and work and organisational psychology. You'll also study specialist human resource management topics such as organisational behaviour, performance and compensation management, training and development, industrial relations, and occupational health and safety.

This degree is made up of 40 courses. You will do 24 courses in law and 16 courses in management.  

Laws (Honours)

Management

You will study core courses such as Business and Society, Career Development for Professionals and Organisational Behaviour. You will also learn the latest in specialist areas such as:

The two year program comprises 16 courses including 4 electives and an industry placement/project.  You will start with seven core courses common to all specialisations in the IMBA.  Through these you will develop advanced skills and expertise in areas of international management including:

This Fast-track to Masters program allows you to fast-track your career by completing an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in just four years.
