Capilano University offers students a one year long Certificate program in Engineering for undergraduate students. It is a first year university transfer program and once students are thorough with this program they can seek admission in a post-secondary British Columbia institution. After finishing this course students gain direct admission in the second year of a four year Engineering program.

Students are taught about the history of music, about the influential figures in Jazz Music, research, analysis and notation of jazz music. Students are required to produce scholarly work that shows a firm contextual understanding of music theory and history as well as exercise self-discipline and a strong work ethic in the development of performance and composition skills.

The Health Care Assistant (HCA) program combines theory courses, lab skills and clinical practicums in real-world health care settings. Students learn to provide personal care to clients and residents in complex care, specialized dementia care, selected acute care settings and in the community. Classes are taught by experienced health professionals who share their stories about clinical practice.

The HCA certificate is an 8-month full-time program offered in an accelerated program that students can complete in 7 months of study.

The Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education is a two year long baccalaureate program that deals with children, their care and education. The Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Diploma gives students the required knowledge to work with children under the age of five in licensed preschools and childcare centres. The program is exclusively designed for students who wish to take a career up in the same field and is headed by a team of expert professionals who have been working in the field of childcare and education from a long time.
