To participate in this co-op option, you will need to complete an application process in the first semester. If academically qualified, you may be admitted to the co-op program. 

Graduates from the Business – Human Resources program from Centennial College will be awarded an Ontario College Diploma. This is a two-year (four semester) program designed to prepare graduates to enter the growing field of human resources management, to prepare for a variety of careers in a shorter time period than having to complete an Advanced Diploma.
In just two years, students will acquire the basic skills necessary to work in the exciting field of human resources [HR]. Graduates will have a foundation of general business knowledge to help them understand how human resources contributes to organizational success. Students will then focus on specific HR functional areas, including recruitment and selection, compensation, health and safety, and more. The Business – Human Resources program will provide an optional co-op. This program also includes courses to qualify graduates towards the academic component of the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) © designation from the Human Resources Professional Association, as well as towards the CIM © designation from the Canadian Institute of Management. Through collaboration with industry, the Software Engineering Technology – Artificial Intelligence (AI) program will provide our students with skills in state of art design and AI application development technologies. Software is taking the planet by storm and AI-driven technologies are at the center of it. AI’s global economic impact is expected to reach trillions by 2025. AI is set to become the new database for next-generation applications.

Our Software Engineering Technology – Artificial Intelligence program aligns well with the newest technology trends in the software industry, namely “Augmented Analytics,” “AI-Driven Development,” and “Autonomous Things.” The coursework emphasizes modern software design and AI frameworks, machine learning, data visualization, big data fundamentals, natural language processing, image recognition, recommender systems, software bots, digital ethics and privacy guidelines within AI solutions.

To round out the technical focus of the curriculum, the Software Engineering Technology – Artificial Intelligence program includes two software development projects. For these real-world business applications, you put into action all the technical, systems and business skills acquired during your courses to build AI-enhanced software solutions for automating, classifying, predicting, recommending, and understanding processes and data.

The diploma in Supply Chain and Operations will prepare students with necessary skills to succeed in an organization that require multidisciplinary supply chain and operations roles.
