Conestoga’s one-year graduate certificate in Broadcasting Performance and Digital Media is the program to kickstart your online presence. You will learn how to shoot and edit high-quality video content, write engaging copy and perform on and off camera with confidence. This program is geared to open opportunities for storytellers and content creators of all types and interests. Building on your past education, business experience, or hobby you will create an online presence which includes a website, video series and engaging social media posts leading to opportunities as a vlogger, podcaster or influencer. Taught by faculty with direct industry experience, courses in research, interviewing, on-camera performance, and storytelling give you the skills to work as a multi-media journalist or news anchor. This program is delivered from Conestoga’s state-of-the-art radio and television studios in a hands-on environment and teaches you how to setup a home studio, increasing your opportunities for employment upon graduation. You will also learn what it takes to start your own business as a sole proprietor, when to incorporate, and how to generate leads as a freelancer. The Animation industry is growing within Canada and there is a demand for Animation professionals. This two-year credential is designed to prepare graduates for animation opportunities in the fields of TV, film, game, and online production. As a student, this program provides you with the opportunity to bring life to characters and stories. Using your creative talents with drawing, animation and production techniques, along with strong storytelling skills, you will create a variety of 2D and 3D animations. A critical component of this program is the production pipeline and the ability to take an animation project from concept to completion. You will work in project-based learning environments and will create work to contribute to your e-portfolio. A field placement in the last semester of the program gives you direct access to the animation industry.

In this two-year diploma program, students develop their technical, communication and interpersonal skills. With a wide variety of hands-on practical experience built into the program and emphasis on critical thinking, ethical decision-making and problem-solving skills, graduates are fully trained to meet the demands of today's challenging office environment. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills by participating in a 90-hour field placement position in a local business.

Courses in this program are based on the Human Resource Professionals Association (HRPA) competency framework and meet the academic requirements for the HRPA designation.

Applying to the Co-op Stream:

• All applicants apply to the non co-op program. Students will be informed of the application deadline and process to apply for the Co-op Stream. Labour market conditions determine co-op seats in optional co-op programs. Every student who meets academic eligibility requirements may not be admitted to the co-op stream.
• To be considered for admission to the co-op stream, students are required to achieve a minimum overall 85% session weighted average with no dropped or failed courses during the term that occurs two terms prior to the co-op work term.

• The College cannot guarantee co-op employment. All co-op students are required to conduct an independent co-op job search in addition to the supports and services provided by the Department of Co-op Education.
• Students are responsible for their own transportation and associated costs in order to complete work term requirements. Work locations may not always be readily accessible by public transportation.

This two-year diploma program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to practice evidence-informed hearing healthcare and to function as an integral member of the interprofessional health- care team. Graduates of the program will have demonstrated the necessary patient-focused skills to manage the needs of the hard of hearing. The program provides a rich learning environment that utilizes classroom education, laboratory simulation, various interprofessional exercises, and clinical exposure to hone competency. The course work is designed to ensure the student is capable to assess hearing and provide hearing patients with appropriate rehabilitation options – in particular, the selection and fitting of today’s technologically-advanced hearing aids. Additionally, the course work will prepare the student to manage minor hearing aid and earmold repairs and modifications. It will prepare students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and critical thinking ability for proficiency within a hearing healthcare environment. After successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to write national/provincial examinations and to complete 1000 hours of supervised internship through the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners (AHIP).

Business Analytics
The need for business analytics in today’s fast-paced world necessitates that employees possess the skills, technologies, and practices for continuous exploration and investigation of past business performance to gain insight into what happened and why. A well-trained business analyst will use the insights to help drive change and business planning within organizations. You will learn how to describe, interpret, and inform business decisions in specific areas of data-driven business. You will improve your data literacy skills and develop an analytic mindset that will help you make strategic decisions based on data. The Business Analytics Ontario College Graduate Certificate program focuses on two of the four types of analytics used in business - Descriptive Analytics and Diagnostics Analytics. Using these two types of analytics, you will practice summarizing data findings to communicate what is currently going on in business and help stakeholders see what contributed to the outcome of your findings.

The program curriculum is designed for students who wish to concentrate on the health sciences field and prepares students for application to Conestoga College's School of Health Sciences advanced diploma or degree programs (Respiratory Therapy, McMaster University Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Applied Health Information Science, Bachelor of Environmental Public Health, etc.). Students wishing to apply to Biotechnology Technician, Fitness and Health Promotion, Hearing Instrument Specialist, Practical Nursing, Nutrition and Food Service Management, Paramedic, Personal Support Worker, and Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant programs are still able to do so by taking either the one-year Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas or upon completion of this one-year Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees.

Students will be introduced to the health sciences field, to college life and college workload, and will be able to increase their competitiveness to support their application to health sciences advanced diploma or degree programs.

Note for international students: the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees is a pathway for international students interested in studying in either the Bachelor of Applied Health Information Science degree or the Bachelor of Environmental Public Health degree ONLY. Students interested in studying in a health science-related two-year diploma program should apply to the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas.

In just 30 weeks, graduates of the Building Superintendence and Repair program are prepared to assume roles in building maintenance, either live-in or out. You will develop the skills and strategies required to interact with customers in a professional and appropriate manner in a diverse business environment. This Ontario College Certificate program prepares you to conduct inspections and maintenance of buildings, while gaining hands-on experience in interior repairs, painting and cleaning, plumbing and building system maintenance, grounds maintenance, record keeping, working with contractors, and landlord-tenant relations. Through a variety of projects, case studies and interactive learning opportunities you will develop the workplace interpersonal skills needed to support all phases of your career. A field placement is included; allowing you to translate theoretical knowledge from the classroom into applied practice in a workplace setting.
