The need for business analytics in today’s fast-paced world necessitates that employees possess the skills, technologies, and practices for continuous exploration and investigation of past business performance to gain insight into what happened and why. A well-trained business analyst will use the insights to help drive change and business planning within organizations. You will learn how to describe, interpret, and inform business decisions in specific areas of data-driven business. You will improve your data literacy skills and develop an analytic mindset that will help you make strategic decisions based on data. The Business Analytics Ontario College Graduate Certificate program focuses on two of the four types of analytics used in business - Descriptive Analytics and Diagnostics Analytics. Using these two types of analytics, you will practice summarizing data findings to communicate what is currently going on in business and help stakeholders see what contributed to the outcome of your findings.

Supply Chain Management - Global
The Supply Chain Management - Global program prepares students for careers in the fields of logistics, procurement, supply chain and operations. Through extensive practical learning activities, students enhance their knowledge of supply chain concepts applicable to a variety of sectors. Graduates will be well-prepared to support the management of job functions by examining the connections between strategic objectives, stakeholder expectations, and supply chain design, functions, processes and roles; determining the value-added and financial implications of supply chain decisions and design on business profitability, efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction; using risk mitigation tools and strategies; reviewing supply chain activities and transactions for compliance with relevant policies, standards, legal, regulatory and contractual obligations; collaborating with, and using leadership and communication skills to build strategic relationships with a diversity of stakeholders. This program has been approved for advanced standing towards attaining the Certified SCMP Designation. Interested in taking this program on a part-time basis? Global Business Management
The Global Business Management graduate program provides an internationally-focused body of knowledge and skills for individuals interested in extending their business understanding beyond the domestic environment. The curriculum emphasizes the skills and knowledge necessary to operate in different roles within international cultural, legal and political contexts. This broad-based program will explore the field of management both in theory and through practical applications considering different organizational lenses. Graduates will be eligible to apply for the FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) diploma, and the CITP (Certified International Trade Professional) designation (subject to one year of work experience).

Career Development Practitioner is a three-semester (one-year) graduate certificate program that prepares graduates to enter the career development sector. The world of work is rapidly changing and new careers are emerging to meet current and future workforce needs. Career Development Professionals provide information, advice, and guidance related to career exploration, skill acquisition, job search, and maintenance. This one-year graduate (three semesters) certificate program provides training to enter and/or advance in the field of career development such as career and employment advisors, career resource specialists, job developers, or career management professionals. This program may also appeal to practitioners working in the field who want to gain additional formal training, job coaching experience, or attain their Career Development Practitioner designation. Graduation from the program provides the full academic component and partial fulfillment of work experience hours for certification by the Career Development Practitioners' Certification Board of Ontario (CDPCBO).

Applied research is designed to answer specific questions aimed at solving practical problems. While fundamental research answers the initial question of how things work, new knowledge acquired from applied research has specific objectives in the form of products, procedures or services. The pace of change in the applied research and information mobilization has never been as fast as today. Whether designing, implementing, and evaluating applied research projects, or targeting and tailoring research evidence for decision-making, people who engage in applied research create meaning and impact across multiple sectors. In this graduate certificate program, you will learn practical research methodologies, data analytics, data visualization, and knowledge mobilization to accelerate the impact of applied research. The second semester allows you to work in interdisciplinary teams to implement your skills in an applied research impact project. In addition to this hands-on experience, you will have the opportunity to expand your real-world practice through an optional co-op term.

Computer animation has evolved to become a major component in the field of animation production and contributes towards shaping content for film, television, games and online applications. As such, students must be actively engaged in all aspects of the production process and understand the requirements associated with the production pipeline. Traditional design, drawing and storytelling skills are enhanced via the latest computer (software/hardware), combined with 3D animation skills and the creation of characters and customized environments contribute towards the creation of unique content that graduates will utilize in their e-portfolio of project work.

Predictive Analytics
To be successful in business today, you need to be proactive, forward thinking, and able to anticipate outcomes and behaviours based upon the data you collect. Predictive analytics is an area of statistics that deals with extracting information from data and using it to predict trends and behaviour patterns. If you have a background in computer science, computer programming, mathematics, or statistics and enjoy working with statistical data, then this could be the program for you. In this Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Predictive Analytics, you will learn about statistical applications for data analysis, data modeling practices, and big data analytical techniques. Through individual and group activities and case studies, you will use predictive modeling and analytical techniques to bring together the management, information technology, and business modeling processes in order to make predictions about future trends. Businesses and industries can use the patterns found in the data to identify risks and opportunities for future decisions and effectively interpret data for their benefit.

Financial Technology
The field of financial technology is evolving as it responds to the challenges facing the 21st century financial sector. This means that professionals employed in the field must be equipped to support diverse client groups such as individuals and company-based financial institutions. If you have a background in the computer industry, finance or other related fields, and are ready to attain in-depth competencies to help consumers and businesses track, manage, and facilitate their finances, this Ontario College Graduate Certificate program will be of interest to you. Through a variety of projects, case studies and interactive learning opportunities, and using current and relevant resources to support the latest trends in financial technology, you will develop the skills needed to help individuals and businesses secure their finances. Conestoga's Interior Decorating program offers you a dynamic environment to build the creative and technical skills needed to excel in the diverse field of Interior Decorating.
Learning from industry experts, you'll develop essential and practical skills through studio, lab and lecture experiences, in addition to field trips and guest speakers. You'll take courses on colour, textiles, finishes and fixtures which are enhanced with access to our large sample library. With the benefit of current, industry-standard software, you'll focus on space planning, drafting and visual 2D and 3D presentations that bring your design concepts to life. A field placement opportunity in your last semester will allow you to gain hands-on career experience before graduating. Many students have secured full-time employment as a result of their placement with employers such as decorating/design firms, product showrooms, design magazines and home staging companies.
Not only is our two-year diploma program recognized by the Decorators and Designers Association of Canada (DDA), Conestoga is the only college offering Interior Decorating graduates the opportunity to earn a second 2-year diploma in Visual Merchandising Arts with the completion of one additional year. As a graduate of both programs, you can expand your employment potential in the design industry to include both residential and retail spaces.

Conestoga’s two-year diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communications is a rewarding, cross-disciplinary program that equips you to be a creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to engage with on-trend brands, craft strategic marketing campaigns through social platforms, and have the confidence and skill set that the industry demands. Taught by passionate, award-winning faculty, you will learn the essential aspects of marketing research, B2B and B2C sales strategies, social media campaigns, brand development, UI/UX design, copywriting, public relations and visual design as they apply to a variety of media applications. In this two-year diploma, students develop the medical base of knowledge, technical and administrative skills and professional communication expertise required to take on more progressive responsibilities in today's increasingly complex and dynamic health care environment.

With a strong emphasis on problem solving, hands-on application and critical thinking, the Health Office Administration program prepares graduates to confidently assume administrative positions integral to the success of health care organizations. Coursework in medical and dental office management, hospital unit administration, insurance practices, and medical transcription, coupled with current business computing applications, bookkeeping, and office management procedures ensure that graduates are in-demand in a wide variety of health care settings.

In addition to participating in health office simulations, students will have the opportunity to consolidate their skills in the fourth semester of this program in a seven-week (minimum 245 hour) unpaid work placement in a local health care organization.

The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas program offers two semesters of full-time study. It is designed for students who wish to concentrate on the health sciences field and prepares students for application to Conestoga College's School of Health Sciences certificate and diploma programs. Students will be introduced to the health sciences field, to college life and college workload, and will be able to increase their competitiveness to support their application to health sciences programs.
