The Human Sciences - International Management (DEC) program is designed for those seeking the acquisition of fundamental and versatile skills necessary for the pursuit of university studies. During this training, students will acquire a general education while learning the basic principles of management. LaSalle College promotes constant exchanges of know-how and expertise between its schools, its subsidiaries abroad and the business world. The program has three profiles: Civilization and Citizenship, International Management and Individual and Society. The first allows the acquisition of training focused on international reality; the second is an initiation to the basic principles of management and mathematics; the third meets the university prerequisites for psychology and psychoeducation programs.

The Arts, Literature and Communication program is a pre-university program for those who wish to experience media production while enriching their general knowledge in order to better understand and appreciate the different media.

During their DEC in Arts, Letters and Communication - Media, students take part in the vibrant cultural life of Montreal by visiting institutions as well as unusual places. In addition, they are called upon to participate in media events while taking advantage of the city's intercultural environment. These experiences allow them to exercise their critical thinking and broaden their horizons on the impact of the media in our society. The Media option is created especially for students who wish to develop communication skills and open several doors for university.

The Early Childhood Education program (DEC) is designed to train childcare educators to work with children from 0 to 12 years old. With this training students will enhance their professional expertise in accordance with the Educational Childcare Act and its governing regulations.

During their training, students will learn how to meet a child’s basic, psychological, as well as educational needs. They will also learn to establish a partnership with parents and partners in the field to understand the importance of discussing necessary interventions with a child.

Focused on current issues like diversity, technology and the environment, this training will give students solid general knowledge to help them analyze and understand social realities.

The Computer Science Technology DEC, with a Programming profile, was developed with support from the information technology business community and will propel you straight towards a promising career with excellent job prospects.

You will develop programming skills following strict product development methodology. You’ll learn to work with various IT project management approaches, like Scrum, to design and develop various types of applications and support/maintain the integrity of organization applications while taking into account technological advancements in the industry. Finally, you’ll be able to use an object-oriented approach to analyze and develop.

You will also be able to develop various types of applications ready for installation and operation. You will have the chance to work as part of a team (industry) that integrates current project management best practices (e.g. Agile, Scrum) and uses the industry’s leading tools and software (GitLab, GitHub, etc.).
